Son was leaving on a long road trip so he had the timing belt replaced with the water pump at the shop. The next day I took the car back to have them look at a minor exhaust leak.I was met by the manager Richard (Dick) with 45 years of experience on a power trip who could not figure out how to fix it without ripping of the entire exhaust (greed ) The cost of shop supplied 0.6 gallen coolant was $28While the mechanics are good people I believe they have lost me as a customer along with my family neighbors and friends.

I own a car dealership and one of my customers took my car here for a pre purchase inspection. Keep in mind we inspect all our cars mechanically and fix any issues. Most shops will then proceed to make up a 2k bill saying things need replaced when they don't and it makes me look bad when in reality they are the shady ones. However this place came to the same conclusion we did and didn't try to make things up and lie which is unusual in the industry. Mr. Mechanic seems to be an honest place to do business.

My daughter Emily and I visited Mr. Mechanic today (7/12/2023), we were greeted by Mr. Richard Strole. Mr. Strole is the Service Manager at the Mr. Mechanic shop. Besides being a genuinely pleasant person, he has a quick edgy sense of humor and is obviously seasoned in his field of auto repair. The reason for our visit to Mr. Mechanic today was in regards to work they invoices on 6/14/2023, just short of one month ago, the vehicle they replaced the timing chain on was purchased by Emily (her first car) just a few weeks ago, and all seemed well. She happened to have some unrelated repairs done by our mechanic, who reported that he thought the seal at the front cover may not have sealed properly after the replacement of the timing chain (work done by Mr. Mechanic), because there appeared to be oil leaking from there. I related these details to Mr. Strole and as we discussed the situation he explained that in fact we did not have a warrantee on the repairs done at Mr. Mechanic less that a month ago as we did not pay for them, that Mr. Mackey Hartman owns the warrantee since he was the person that paid the $2013.89 for the replacement of the timing chain, the warrantees are not transferable. While this was disappointing to hear, I was relieved and pleased when he told us that he would take a look at it and was going to take care of it for us anyway. I believe it shows great integrity and character to stand behind the work you do! Needless to say I was quiet impressed! Way to go Mr. Mechanic and Mr. Strole! In conclusion, Mr. Strole reported that he believes the leaked oil seen by our mechanic was old oil, that they wiped it off and drove the car quite a bit and saw no new oil leaking, which is great news! Mr. Strole recommended we keep an eye on the oil level and even offered that she could stop in whenever she like and they are happy to check it for her. He did tell me on our way out to remember that we do not have a warrantee. I am hopeful that there will be no reason to need a warrantee, for work that was already done and inspected, reported to not be a problem less than one month later... I realize this review is long I just want you to know what you can expect from Mr. Mechanic and Mr. Strole. Thank you for your dedication to exceptional service, it is a direct reflection of your personal integrity!

I brought my suv into his shop for the first time today. I thought I heard a sound and was prepared to spend some money to fix said sound. They took the time on, short notice, to look at my suv and deemed everything is ok. He could have taken my money and I wouldn't have even known. That's a good man! That's someone you can trust and has earned my business from here on out. Check them out!!?Services: General repairs & maintenance

My parents started taking their cars here probably around 15 years ago. I too completely trust my vehicle with them. They are also so nice. They are very reasonable and don't try to upsell you. Go here for honesty, great mechanic work, and nice service.

Great mechanic, but more importantly, HONEST. My car was making an awful sound that could have been anything. They were honest that it was an acorn trapped between my car and drive shaft. Saved me so much. Could have looked and taken me for a fool

Worst experience ever. My husband broke down out of town. He was close by to this shop. They said it wouldn't be able to do his repairs until next week. It ended up being 3 weeks and they never actually fixed the problem. They said they got the wrong parts twice then were completely unable to get the final parts needed to complete the repair. On top of that the communication was terrible. Several times my husband was told that they would call him back and they never did. He would have to call the shop repeatedly to get any updates or answers about his repairs. They very rarely answered the phone during business hours. Would not recommend to anyone.

Needed brakes on 2009 Kia Sportage. They got me in right away, finished same day and did job within estimate which was reasonable. Happy and would recommend.

Support small local businesses! Best place to have car repairs. I would trust sending my daughter here who knows nothing about car repairs and be nothing but 100% certain she is being treated fairly and honestly about what is needed. Service is outstanding and performed within their commitment. They set the highest standard for what car repair service should be.

While there are MANY repairs that Mr. Mechanic performs well on our cars, they don't do everything; but what they do, they do very well. More importantly, they stand behind their work. They've actually refused my money for work they couldn't fully execute! I will only take our cars to a specialty service shop or dealer after I've given Mr. Mechanic a shot; That has only happened once in the last 10 years.I would recommend them to anyone, because they earned my trust.Services: Brakes
