No professionalism with this company, my company made a switch to another payroll company for financial reasons and provided Heartland with a nice letter letting them know we were going in another direction starting for the fourth quarter of 2023. Heartland decided not to file our third quarter even thou we paid them to this point, I had to have my new company file our 3rd quarter for us. You cannot talk to anyone at Heartland and my emails were never returned, customer service is lacking.The payroll service I have now is less expensive and I have constant contact, I hope this serves as a warning to others.

They used to be good used them almost 10 years and they started to be like all the other scammer. Say something verbally and does something different. they really disappointed me. I refer so many clients and now i am just going to tell them what they did.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Heartland is. I have tried twice to find cheaper companies and I’ve been screwed both times. The bad companies will promise you the world but it’s all a lie. You will find your bills will just skyrocket. Both of the bad ones came out of Texas so watch out.

I tried these guys out. After a month of fees it was obvious they are on the expensive end and have slower payment time frames than square. They also want $60 per reader. You can get two of them from square for that price. Don't even waste your time with this circus.

This company came to us and we decided to use them. Their major sales pitch was customer service and availability. That was not the case at all. When they came to pick up their equipment, the Heartland employee was extremely rude in front of my clients. Now, when I ask to not receive any emails, to unsubscribe from them, I get nasty comments back. Would love to speak to the company president or top management about employee behavior. Horrible company. Would never recommend them.

You should probably tell your sales guy not to scream "THEY'RE THE DEVIL! THEY'RE THE DEVIL!" when you tell them you are perfectly fine with one of your competitors.

I kept switching from processor to processor and I was sick of it... Heartland has been the only Payroll and Credit Card Processor that has actually delivered what they promised to my small business. Very happy.

I only do business with companies that have a local office. The switch has been great!
