I ordered a Christmas pillow and they never let me know that it was backordered until March. I had to call and find out for myself. Bad business model to let people order items if not in stock.

I ordered 2 recliners 8/15/23, and my credit card was charged immediately. They were delivered 9/8/23 and both had broken legs and otherwise damaged with scraps. They refused to credit my card until they were picked up which they couldn’t do until 9/20/23! I ended up calling my credit card and reversed the charges. Very poor customer service and poor quality furniture.

This company charged us twice for merchandise and has not delivered the correct furniture. First, they delivered the wrong size and secondly, they shipped the furniture to the wrong address. Lastly, they told us they will not credit us until both wrong merchandises are returned to the warehouse, but they never sent UPS to pick the merchandise. We have been waiting two weeks with no response from the company as to when they will pick up both merchandises from the wrong address. Due to their logistic and distribution centers not being efficient, we are paying the price. It has been a horrible customer experience. This company will make you pay for their mistakes!

I purchased counter stools that are not the height advertised. When i asked to return they were not returnable; however, their policy only lists final sale items ending in .97 as not returnable. It should lists their policy appropriately.I will never shop at Grandinroad again.

Bought two rocking chairs and a bench with cushions mid-November 2021. Each piece was delayed from the original estimated delivery date and the last piece (on backorder) came 1/5/22. The rocking chair assembly was bad. The screws that fastened the seat to the backrest did not leave enough room for a standard screwdriver (the seat bottom interfered with the handle of the driver) much less using a power screwdriver or a drill. The screw covers would not seat even with a rubber mallet and had to be glued (which voided the warranty I later learned). My first compliant via email received and terse and condescending, and unprofessional response. In subsequent correspondences they agreed to refund us 20% and issued a refund of $39.80. The order was $1100,, so do the math. I eventually managed to get the screw covers on all of the pieces, though it was through my own handiness, because your average consumer would have failed at assembly. If I have any issues with this furniture within the warranty time I will be going directly to the BBB. Disrespectful, dishonest, and the furniture is ridiculously overpriced for the quality. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

$700. MistakeI purchased these Valencia bar height stools a few years ago, thinking that they would be a nice finishing touch to my kitchen remodel. As you can see, this was a $700 mistake.I sent my concerns to Grandin Road:Is there anything I can do about these stools? Purchased several years ago and the “leather” is cracked and peeling. They look terrible and are a huge disappointment. I purchased two simpler stools in the same “leather” They were more routinely used and are fine (for now). I am hoping for a recall!I received this response:Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!I guess you can only share good reviews.

BEWARE! Do not buy from Grandin Road. They have charged my CC multiple times and the supervisor I spoke with was one of the most condescending, rude and unhelpful people I have ever spoken to. I am currently waiting to see if the "authorization" drops off, and from there I will be disputing the charge with my bank and filing a complaint with the BBB. Absolutely ridiculous!! Not sure why zero stars isn't an option, but one star is so much more than these people deserve.

Company can't honor shipping dates. Have changed expected delivery date twice so far. Why a company takes an order when they have zero stock in is beyond me. Customer service offers zero assistance. Company charges a lot for same products made in China that you can get elsewhere.
