Sold us a complete lemon. Did not disclose it was a smoker car, transmission completely destroyed, rusted bottom, axle broken. Yes it is my fault for not taking it to a mechanic first. I cannot recommend and suggest you avoid. It drove fine when we test drove it but after a month of ownership it has started showing signs of leaking oil. The car stalled in an intersection. I bought this car for my 16 year old daughter, which they knew, and she placed $4,500 of her own hard earned cash on the table. This car is not safe for her to drive and she lost her money. What kind of human takes money from a teenager and puts them in an unsafe vehicle. 5 months later, the car has sat in our garage for months and we now have the issue of finding another car for my daughter, while getting rid of this one at a complete loss. Horrible.
Update. The car he sold us was sold back to carmax for $2600 only 3 months later. Such a sham. Snake oil salesman to avoid like the plague. I have posted warnings about this place on my neighborhood HOA page, various Town FB pages.
Update and answers.
1. My daughter was not licensed at the time of purchase. i drove the vehicle for 3 weeks until I received my car back from a shop for work. The car then sat in the garage from February until she was able to obtain her license in late April *she had been in the hospital for health related issues and was not able to get her license in a timely manner* (none of your business but clarification as to why the vehicle was sitting in the garage as stated in the original post and you were not contacted).
2. No contact was made bc Ohio law doesn’t provide lemon law for used vehicles.
3. You have my information, it’s never too late to do the right thing. The ball is in your court Decent Ride. I made this post as soon as we discovered the $5,700 transmission issue and lost over $9,000 as a total loss trade in to carmax. You can still do the right thing.

We were in a hurry. We should have known. We thought that a family-run place would be more honest. They definitely took advantage of us and sold us a pile of junk with problems that they obviously knew about and simply reset the warnings.
EDIT: In response to your comments, we took it to a trusted mechanic and they said there’s multiple oil leaks, there’s a drive train malfunction and the turbo charger is bad.
We bought a 2014 BMW X3 on October 28, 2023 for a little over KBB value and you wouldn’t even fill the gas tank or come to KBB because you said you already put so much $$$ work into the car that you wouldn’t even be breaking even. That’s why I made my assertions that you must know about the problems because you told me that you had already worked on the car. The engine light first came on our drive home from buying the car, which is why I have a very hard time believing that you didn’t clear it without fixing a problem.
I understand that it’s buyer-beware with used cars. I anticipated some problems, but I believed you when you said that you had recently fixed them and agreed to pay your higher price. Now, I’ve got a $12,000 paper weight that will cost me another $4K to fix but it’s only worth $3K to sell.
Can you see why I’m saying that if you worked so hard to fix a car up, then you should know about at least one of its many problems?

I went to dealership to look at 2013 Cadillac CTS awd. I spoke to Justin and took the car for a test drive. Steering wheel had a slight shimmy when driving it and by the time I returned to dealer I was unable to turn the steering due to total loss of fluid. They stated it would be fixed.
I returned the next day and purchased the Cadillac, drove it home and could not steer it due to loss of fluid again. I filled up the power steering reservoir and drove back to dealership to let them know the leak was still there. The mechanic picked it up and Andrew let me drive a car home while the Cadillac was checked. Turned out to be the steering rack was leaking and Andrew said they would take care of it. They emailed me the next day saying car was ready for pick up. Picked up car and drove it home without issues. Drives and steers much nicer now.
Stickers on windows say vehicle sold “As is”. But Andrew stepped up and paid for repairs.
I would recommend this dealer in the future to anyone looking for a vehicle.

Andrew and Justin both went above and beyond in assuring I was happy with my decision and able to finance the vehicle in question. Just finished financing a 2015 Volvo S60 and I couldn’t be happier!
Not that they were duty-bound, but Alex stayed 2 hours past his posted closing time to make sure I could take immediate delivery of the vehicle.
What a stand up gentleman; I’m happy to give them my current and future business.

I spoke to Andrew and Justin over the phone today. And I have to say these two are the nicest people I have ever spoke to at a Car dealership! After I spoke to Justin I found out this was family owned and everyone in the family works here. Justin was so helpful and I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle. As soon as you meet them you will know what I mean. I just wish every business was like this.

Thank you for making purchasing a car so easy! I came across the vehicles listing on Facebook, messaged Andrew, we spoke and he educated me a little on the used car market as this particular vehicle was out of my price range. I told him what I was looking to do and my price range and he worked with me to complete the deal. He was extremely professional as well, thank you again Andrew!

Andrew and his crew really seemed to care about giving great service. Unfortunately, the experience started badly because of the bank I was using to finance the car. They had a lot of clerical errors and the application had to go back to the underwriters at least 5 times. I was there at least 3 hours due to this issue. The Decent Ride crew were frustrated and they called the bank on my behalf several times. I had to leave for personal reasons, but ultimately got it worked out and got the car the next day. Andrew really cares and will go the extra mile for you. He seems genuine which is rare with the auto industry. Thank you for your hard work and for the car!

We went there originally to look at a Tacoma and ended up buying a very nice Tundra. The price was very good for the year and milage that the truck was and the owner and his family were extremely nice to me and my family.

Hands down, the best dealership i have been to. Those men went above and beyond for me and my husband today. 100% need more of this kind of salesmen. 5/5 for sure. Will be recommending them from here on out. They truly made getting this car a good experience.

Had a great experience selecting a car. Andrew was a pleasure doing business with and sons were very helpful. I recommend if you’re looking for a ‘decent ride’ to check this place out.
