Unhelpful, rude gal in customer service who acted like it was my problem and not hers that they failed to deliver a product today. Mistakes happen but failure to take accountability.

Terrible at communication. I would think that would be important for a company like this! The dispatcher called to set up a 4, yes 4 hour delivery windows and never showed. The driver did call 2 hours late saying they were about 15+ minutes away. No contact for 7 days until delivery driver calls to say that they are sitting in the driveway wondering when someone was going to be there. Well this was a work site and no one was there at that time since they DID NOT schedule the delivery! Still no call. Hire new dispatchers! Find a better shipping company!Edited.to add: 2 days after driver showed up he called again to say he was 15 mintes away. Wonderful right? Well again this was unscheduled and no one was there. A surprise to him since he said he was told they called. Nope. Never scheduled again. He did comment that that our product may end up damaged since it had already been loaded and unloaded 3 times heading for 4. Agreed. Order canceled. Why? Because of Central Transport. Find a better transporter, this one one was not worth the trouble.

This freight company has got to be the worst to deal with. I actually felt sorry for our sales rep. She tried to get things remedied. Now, I'm being threatened for bills I have not paid either due to their weighing things incorrectly or damaged goods they sent to one of my customers in Florida and never made good on it. This is one transportation company who is very difficult to deal with when there are problems. My company has been in business for 120 years and we've never had the problems with our other freight carriers like we have with Central. They try to reel you in with their cheap rates but in this case you get what you pay for, that being, problems. I recommend looking elsewhere.

Absolute Liars did not get back with me after physical not whatsoever I checked in with the manager on site nothing nothing this company is as bad as the one I just left I'm glad I didn't take the job

They usually get the job done and have nice customer service, however their pricing is never accurate. They always try to add on some additional fee after the shipment has delivered. Which leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Reclass, Reweigh, or recently they have tried to hit me with "Residential pickup" fee (when it clearly picked up from a large warehouse) They tried to send me a photo of a pin dropped around the corner on google maps of someones house. Just tired of getting nickel and dimed after the fact.

Driver was really nice and pretty helpful but our freight showed up pretty damaged and it was also on the tracking software. It was always going to deliver that day. It takes seven days two weekends for us to actually get our freight. I don’t know what happened there? But it was pretty ridiculous. Almost every day for entire week. The dispatcher told us that he was two hours away from delivering to us.

Ordered a track saw guide rail and because of the size it had to be shipped by Central Transport. Very disappointed in their handling of my package. The manufacturer packaged the item in particle board and cardboard but obviously the handler was not aware of the significance of why. A guide rail cannot be thrown around and dragged. Everything was ripped and torn on the outside. When I opened the package the guide rail was so bent it’s completely ruined. Very frustrating!

My terminal I worked at was cool but the company itself is trash. They give you pto days and if you don't last they keep your money. Another thing they make you wait 3 weeks in a whole to get Paid and try to give you a 500 dollar loan to payback when you get paid. Communication is horrible. This the worst company I have worked for. I wouldn't recommend this company unless you like getting robbed for your money??♂️
