A wonderful example of another failing juggernaut of American corporate greed and quick.money closings. Leaving employees unable to pay rent or creditors. At best they are employees who are guessing hours in a week by week basis. Nothing is ever promised,but do give employees some kinda heads up.

The staff at this store has always been very friendly and welcoming, until you get to the pharmacy. With a total of maybe 2-3 pharmacists who are polite, the rest treat you like it’s not their job to be there. I don’t know what’s got them so miserable all the time, but it’s poor customer service and truly disrespectful. I agree with Lori from another review, if you don’t like your job, leave. As someone in customer service, I would be reprimanded if I treated customers as poorly and nasty as some of the ladies in the pharmacy. They’re even rude to friends and family I know have been going to this pharmacy for years. There was an instance where the pharmacist actually told the next pharmacist to “take her time” filling out my sister’s prescription because my sister “doesn’t regularly show up anyway.” Which is honestly insane to me, knowing that the medications my sister takes are vital for her daily life and that she most definitely has been a consistent customer at this pharmacy for a long time. It’s absurd these miserable workers continue to get away with being rude to their customers and all it’s going to do is continue to drive business away from Wellsville. But just know, even after treating me like I was good for nothing, if I see them in my place of employment I’ll still be sure to do my job well and greet them with a smile. Because that’s how life works.

I read the reviews because I wanted to see if others have experienced the same as I have. I have been using this pharmacy for years. For the most part, I like Rite Aid. The associates in the front of the establishment are personable and helpful, always a greeting upon entering the store. The pharmacist (male) is also personable and helpful. There are two pharmacy techs that I am glad to see, and two I am not. I am not familiar with names, but the rudeness of these women is unacceptable. Granted, everyone has days where they are over the public, but this is EVERYTIME I happen to interact with them. Your face won't break if you smiled. If your job sucks, get a new one. Probably more than 50% of your customers have OTHER things to get to in their day. Your lengthy chit chat with customers...unrelated to pharmacy...while others wait to be waited on, isn't appreciated. I know, now, that I am not alone with the unfriendly and rude behavior, so it will no be taken personally. Treat others as you'd like to be treated....ESPECIALLY when they pay your salary. If you didn't have customers, you wouldn't have employment. If Wellsville Rite Aid would like more positive reviews, perhaps some changes are in order. There are enough low reviews to take a look at the problem.Update: I've moved from Wellsville and transferred to the East Palestine Rite Aid. Now, these pharmacists are on top! Friendly, helpful and professional, EVERY visit!

These folks are just amazing people, how anyone could call any of them rude is beyond me.. They are more than helpful and always say hi and speak even though they are always always busy. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Amazing job to everyone there! :) Roger D.

The associates that work at our rite aid in Wellsville Ohio, are always very friendly and knowledgeable about the products or prescriptions. They always treat their customers like they have known them a long time.

The pharmacist I believe her name is Kim has to be the most unprofessional person I’ve met yet! My child and I sat and waited close to an hour and a half for a flu shot today, so it gave us plenty of time for us to overhear her speak to others in a way no pharmacist should! She definitely can think what she wants about anyone but should know better than to say her thoughts out loud to her coworkers when there are clearly others able to hear! Definitely had ZERO problems violating HIPAA AT ALL! they definitely lost our entire family as customers as of today, and she “don’t care “ ! She is RUDE and ARROGANT! We’ve always preferred wellsville rite aid , it’s sad how one employee can ruin a life long relationship with a pharmacy!From the reviews I’ve read I’m surprised that chain puts up with her nonsense!

Pharmacy associate has issues filling prescriptions as prescribed by the Dr. Because she (Kim) feels she knows better than the doctor. Had problems getting my and my mothers prescriptions filled after the doctor calls them in. Very poor service. My mother is a diabetic who's Dr. Calls in prescriptions to be filled for. The pharmacy tech or associates whatever she (Kim) calls herself actually argues with my mother AND her doctor about how much of her diabetic meds she needs! Crazy. Replace her and give warnings to the rest of the staff in the pharmacy about standing around talking instead of caring for customers and it would probably be a fine pharmacy. The pharmacist guy is great. Most of his "team" are horrid.

Today is my 3rd and final time coming to fill my sons prescription and every time there is always a problem with it being filled on time. When I called for a refill it said it would be ready when I came to my surprise (not really) it was not ready and I had to wait an extra 30-45 mins for it to be filled!! I live about a half hour away where either pharmacy I go to is a drive! I called 5 hours prior to picking up! Also, pharmacists are very rude and have attitude towards their customers when it’s their mistake.
