I made contact with the woman at the pharmacy pickup window inside the store. As I started explaining to her I was there to pick up a prescription that was “called in”….she abruptly cut me off and said…”Well you know we just opened at 9.” She was a complete ass and has no business interacting with the public.
I continued and said, If you allowed me to finish it was called in last week. She obtained my info and located both prescriptions. Keep in mind…..one was an Oral Live Vaccination which requires constant refrigeration
She removes one from the refrigerator and the other from the bin out front. I pay and go home. Only after arriving home I go to place the bag marked Refrigeration Required medication into the fridge only to learn they had placed my other medication which does not require refrigeration in this bag by error. So
Basically they never refrigerated my medication and allowed my Live Virus Vaccine to stay out in the bin unrefrigerated for who knows how many days, rendering it useless and potentially harmful to me and refrigerated a general pill that doesn’t require it.
This is unacceptable. I did not return and WILL never use this pharmacy again. Poor customer service and if you make this kind of mistake with medication……what else are you doing that could potentially harm people????
I’m curious what the Pharmacy Board would think of this.
I’ll get a new script called into a different pharmacy. Actually considering posting this on Wellington Front Porch to warn the citizens of Wellington of the horrible service at Drug Mart.
I see the responses left by the Drug Mart representative on here. No solutions only SORRY. No changes. Only SORRY. I agree. You are.

Worse pharmacy around, always late on orders and wait till end of day to fill pain medication that I've been taking for years and throw off monthly cycle from Dr.

Awesome place to go! Always have everything in stock unlike a few certain General stores around the area. Employees are always very helpful and polite. Keep up the great work!

Typically we have a good experience at this location.On February 14th, 2023, my husband and I stopped in to pick up an Rx and some items needed for my husband's upcoming surgery.The young man at the pharmacy was very rude and unprofessional.I did call back and talk to someone in the pharmacy about our treatment, but she must not have been a manager because she just listened with no additional advice or comments.Since things have been hectic with surgery, etc., I am calling the corporate office today. I wish I would have done so immediately.Normally, the staff is polite and professional. We are considering a new pharmacy.Not sure why this kind of service is acceptable, but to me, it is not proper business.

The pharmacy is terrible. You have to wait forever and when your prescription is ready so they say, it never is. The people at the drive-thru at the window are incredibly rude and unfriendly.

Kudos to the store and Pharmacy staff for providing a clean store, top notch customer service, and low prices. Beth. Renee, Shawn, and entire Pharmacy staff, you go above and beyond to make sure prescriptions are filled accurately and promptly while answering your customers' questions and exhibiting professional warmth and courtesy. These qualities are not often found nowadays, and I for one am grateful to you. Well done, Wellington store and Pharmacy! Highly recommended!

Pharmacy:Consistently horrible. Unprofessional, bad attitudes that translate to horrible customer experience/care and just bad workers. Maybe Beth and the crew do not care for their jobs?! But no excuse ladies. You are in customer CARE not customer "I don't care". AVOID dealing with this place if possible. Always full of excuses as to why prescriptions aren't ready, never receive call back when promised. I mean, we have had actual insurance companies and pharmacists on the other line to prove Drug Mart Wellington Pharmacy is lying and staff continues to lie and provide excuses.....just own up to the mistakes and say "So sorry, we didn't look at the orders in a timely manner so it's our oversight." Stop blaming everyone and everything else. I mean, we have dealt with medical equipment ordering/receipt , billing issues and regular prescriptions with this place numerous times, since we've lived here last fall, and it's the same thing. In the least, why can't they have pleasant bedside manners? Why so I need to do others' jobs AND still pay top dollar for my healthcare/insurance/etc.!? ? Don't deal with this place unless you don't care or have any serious time-sensitive medical issues.Very disappointed. Not returning. Hope this helps others. ?

I’m disappointed with the lack of quality costumer service, especially considering the fact that I used to work in this pharmacy. I had great coworkers and bosses, but now there are some new people who are extremely rude. I came in to pick up my prescription and my cashier (according to the receipt) was Molly N. She was very rushed and had the nastiest expression on her face. I literally couldn’t even say goodnight because I was so stunned by how rude she had been. If you don’t like talking to/dealing with people, then get a different job. It’s really not that difficult. To Molly N or whoever the woman was, do better.

Don't get me wrong, the store is fine. However, the pharmacy employees are unpleasant and are the slowest I've ever seen. They could use some "healthy competition" in the area to take the burden of customers from them so prescriptions take less time to fill.
