A guy from Herberth came out to give us an estimate on an addition we requested. We never received an emailed estimate, phone call or other return communication. The lack of responsiveness was a poor first impression if you’re going to spend a good chunk of your savings on a construction job. We didn’t hire them for this reason; we didn’t want to have to hassle our contractor for the whole job if we can’t even get an estimate. They asked what we “thought it would cost,” not a budget. We were never given an estimate, called or told our “budget” we never gave wasn’t enough or even had a discussion with us.

Professional, courteous, on budget and on time! Great experience on two projects!! (One inside updating 2 bathrooms and one outside on a beautiful deck!) couldn’t be happier!! Nick and the crew did a great job!

Tim Herberth was qui to respond to our request to visit our home and provide an estimate and a start date. His crews arrived promptly on promised times and started the job without delay. All crew members were courteous, respectful and professional in their appearance and behavior. Their work was beyond any criticism and they accomplished the work such that any potential future issues would not occur. Other areas of concern they identified and addressed as well. Every night the job site was cleared of any debris. When we discovered that we needed this work we had contacted at least five other contractors prior to discovering Herberth. We experienced contractors who didn't return our calls, inspected the job and never called back, performed some work poorly which had to be redone by Herberth. We have the highest regard for Herberth and the work they perform.

We have had Herberth Construction do all of our remodel projects in our home. We would never use anyone else. They do such quality work and are so easy to work with. Their crew of master craftsmen take all the worry out . You can relax and know the job is going to be done properly. They have never told me no..and I have asked for some difficult things to be done and they not only figure out a way to do but it always looks amazing. We highly recommend them.

Tim Herberth and his people have done several projects for us - some smaller, others more extensive. They've replaced the front deck, rebuilt/covered/screened the back, designed/built a partial extension for the garage, rebuilt a greenhouse foundation, repaired/refinished damaged/weathered parts of our log house, designed and and built a pergola, and built a 30 x 30 barn. In every case, Tim has shared project plans and status - he's an excellent communicator. The quality of the work he and his craftsmen perform is flawless. Herberth Construction is the best.
