Nice cozy local restaurant with an adjacent gift shop. Food and portions could have been better, but the service and staff were very nice and friendly.prices were fair and comparable with other restaurants.

A tasty oasis of sliced meats, crispy bacon and homemade pies...they have a dairy window too (ice cream, shakes)Jasper Johns'ish like decor was just the 'Your in Ohio' cherry on top.Service just doesn't get better than this.Prices are more consistent with the mid 90's then today...did they not get rampant national inflation email? Here for work the next couple days, and I'll be seeing these folks everyday. I gotta couple weeks before my cholesterol gets checked, thankfully.

Disclaimer: I'm a city guy (Chicago), but grew up in small town Illinois enjoying "simple food" in the 50s. Fast-forward to this week at the CK thanks to a recommendation from an in-law. Q1.: "Why did you order fish and chips in Wayne Ohio for goodness sakes?" A. Because I don't eat much meat or chicken. (BTW, here's a pro tip: if you do enjoy those particular proteins, check out the menu, you'll find plenty of fine choices.) Q2. "How was your meal?" A. Well, dear, it was exceptional in that the breading-to-fish ratio was in the neighborhood of 5:1. Perhaps that should be noted on the menu or perhaps not, since apparently patrons of the restaurant are cool with the cook's interpretation of a beloved English classic.

I haven't actually eaten here in 20 years but when I was homeless and walked from Bowling Green out to Wayne with my heavy hiking pack on, the owner was kind enough to give me a free bite to eat. I had walked out to find my friend I used to work at Cedar Point with. Her family has lived out here for many many years and lived just up the street. Still very thankful for their help after all these years when I was searching for my friend!!

Cute little place. Has a small "store" that sells crafts and then the restaurant. Service was fast. Server was very friendly. Prices were good. Food was yummy. I had the chicken walnut salad and it was good and very large. The others in my party had the fish special and all said it was good. Ended my healthy salad meal with a not so healthy but still super yummy piece of carrot cake! Would stop in again next time I'm in town. Drove about 20 mins to try it.
