Nurse faxed blood work order over and tried for two days to reach them to make sure it went through. When she finally answered she responded “when I get busy I don’t answer the phone.”
Went there this morning (fasted) around 8:30. They open at 7. Nobody there. PT guy in the separate area said “someone didn’t show up.” Called our nurse and she faxed it to a different nearby lab. We circled back in.
This was usually the lab I went to. Not any more!

Blonde receptionist/lab tech very rude. I was warned by other people she is difficult. I have been sitting here for an hour. I am the first name on the sign in sheet. Was told i should go to st. Lukes since i had not been to this office before. I just switched to mclarens from promedica. I will be going back to promedica after this. Sad excuse for healcare.

My labs never made it to McLaren’s Hospital for my scheduled test. They couldn’t tell me why. I will be going to ProMedica for future medical treatment.

This laboratory is highly inefficient and the staff are rude. In order to get in without more than a hour wait, we always arrive at 7:00 AM (when they open). As regular clients, we know this is the best option for us due to medication schedules, etc. Today, when we signed in at 7:00 AM, we were told the phlebotomist wouldn’t be there until 8:00 so there would be an hour wait. Since we live 5 minutes away, we went back home and returned in 35 minutes. After waiting another 25 minutes, we asked why we were being skipped over. The staff replied that we weren’t here when they called us, so we were at the end of the line, now more than another hour wait. This location’s staff continue to be a disgrace to the McLaren St. Luke’s hospital system.

I always go early in the morning when I get off work. I try to be there right when they open. If ita 7:10 most time it a 30min wait or more from there on. The wait time can be really long and the lounge is super small. Anytime I go though the lady is super nice and friendly and definitely will strike up a conversation with you. She is very through and even checked up on a error on my labs.

Lab tech at window seemed to have no understanding that half of her job was customer service. Rude, short, and seemingly irritated by my unfamiliarity with the facility. I walked out and went to new Toledo Clinic site on the trail and had completely different experience. If you need labs drawn in Waterville, I would suggest going to the Toledo Clinic location on 24. You will be treated much better.
