I have never had issues with Kroger pharmacy. My prescriptions are always on time unless I run out of refills. As for the 1-130 lunch break...most pharmacies are doing this. If you know this then plan your time accordingly. It's not that difficult. They are open until 8 or 9 in the evening. Most places have to make do with short staffing these days. I gave a 4 because I don't believe in 5's because no one is perfect.

Why I hate Kroger in Waterville, Ohio! Unfortunately living in a small town we only have one local grocery store. The Waterville Kroger is NOT customer friendly. First may I say that literally every time I go there the aisles have stocking carts in them and the employees don’t move to let you get to the products. Customers shouldn’t have to weave around stocking carts to grocery shop. Now I don’t tend to complain without at least suggesting how to better the customers experience. Why don’t they stock shelves at night or after closing time? I’m not sure if all the Kroger stores do this, but the Waterville closes its pharmacy from 1-1:30 for lunch. This does not make it convenient for their customers. I pulled up to the window with 7 minutes before their designated lunch time with only one car ahead of me who was being waited on. It took her 7 minutes to get her prescription. When I maneuvered my car to the window the shade was already closed. Again I don’t complain without offering suggestions. Why don’t the pharmacist and techs. alter their breaks to make it more convenient for the customer? Or perhaps, they can change the close sign 10 minutes before they actually close so customers know that they are not taking anyone else before lunch. The best customer friendly idea would be to change the close sign but finish waiting on the few customers that were already inline before 1. I don’t think that is too hard to ask Kroger. I hate the Kroger in Waterville, Ohio. We really need another competitive store!

Normally can’t even speak to someone when you call and get sent to voicemail. If you leave a voicemail, you will never hear back.

Never experienced a place or staff as kind and compassionate towards their customers as this location is. I have endless stories over the last 4 years going there. There's truly no store like this one

This is a poorly managed store. Prices aren't marked correctly. It looks like something is on sale then you checkout and find it is. it. cashier told me we can't check prices till you check out, another time the cashier said they probably didn't take the sale price down! Meat is awful, don't waste your money. Out of items on every visit. Online coupons are a hassle, the buy 5 or 6 items is a real pain, and then there is take a photo of QR code and save money. This does not work half the time. They are more expensive than other Krogers near by. I highly recommend Sauter's just down the road.

This is a nice Kroger's layout and location. The store is suffering from staffing and/or HR issues. I honestly don't visit as often and others in my family but going during the day, the deli is closed, signs posted, staffing issues. The Pharmacy is closed (advertised) 1 - 1:30 but arriving before 1 PM the counter gates are pulled down and they are closed early. This is truly a sad situation, either they can't hire or they treat the folks like crap. Another Kroger's @ Springfield does not seem to have these troubles. To complicate matters there are times when those shelves are empty. Again I don't go often and when I do I look for specific brands/products and WOW empty shelves in the middle of the week. Kind of expect that on a Sunday or Monday. Not sure of the best fix to offer them other then I moved the bulk of my shopping to Sautter's Market down on 64.

I used to sware by kroger pharmacy, but now I don't know if something changed within but it's been down right horrible! Scheduling refills on their time with zero exceptions. Customer service is absolutely horrible too! Changing pharmacies for sure!

So we do that online pick up order and it tells us to pick up the groceries at 12 pm so we get here and they tell us our order won't be ready until 1pm and they said didn't our manager call you we said no and they said maybe they left you a voicemail I said no if they didn't call that means they didn't leave a voicemail. Unreal this is the worst Krogers I've ever been to and for now on I'm doing my shopping at Meijer's. Krogers is a joke that uses the lame excuse that they don't have enough people. If you don't have enough people then make sure you call and let people know about the delay so they don't waste their gas and drive there for nothing.

They deserve less than one star. I take medications that you are not allowed to miss one dose. More times than I can count on two hands, have I been told my refills are not ready because “Emergency orders take precedent over refills.” I have called Kroger Pharmacy to make sure my prescriptions are ready only to arrive at the store and be told they are not ready. Today, I was told that although I attempted refill days ago, my prescription is not ready, even though I received an email stating it was ready for pick-up. Tonight, I will be unable to take my medication and the side effects from missing a dose are mine to deal with, as Kroger Pharmacy staff could not care less. Interaction with Kroger Pharmacy staff varies, they are not rude in person, but they will certainly argue with you on the phone. The current population of Waterville is about 5,950. I find it difficult to believe that a company as large as Kroger would be unprepared to effectively support a community this size. I switched pharmacies to Kroger due to location and convenience, however, it is not at all convenient. If you have medications that must be taken daily, I suggest you look for another pharmacy.

Worst pharmacy ever! Called the day before and was told script would be ready next day. Made the 12 mile trip during the polar vortex only to find out that now it won't be ready for 3 more days! Incompetence!

This Kroger is a rip off! They charge higher prices because they are the only game in town. I can drive 4 miles or so and hit another Kroger and it's less expensive than this one. I only come here when I need to grab something quick. They are constantly rearranging the isles, moving things that you know you can go in and grab and they move it again. Ask an employee where they moved an item and they don't even know. The deli department and meat department never have anyone there that can assist you and have an attitude when you do ask for something. I much prefer to drive down the road to Sautter's and pay a little more at a locally owned business.
