Parents Beware!!!If you have a child going through testing for any behavioral disabilities such as Autism, ADD, ADHD, ODD, etc. Don’t send your child here.Once started, children are expected to transition into their schedule and curriculum within a two maybe three week timeframe, if I remember correctly per their contract. Our child was actively undergoing behavioral testing to reach a diagnosis while being enrolled, told the center admin this prior to our start date, and requested additional transition weeks, 4-6 weeks to be exact, due to the fact that our child may take longer to transition than a child without a disability. There seem to be an understanding but alas that was not true.We didn’t yet have a diagnosis prior to our start date because behavioral testing takes quite a long time, weeks to months. So when, after two weeks of being there, the admin decided to dismiss our child from their center due to the behaviors our child exhibited, that they were told about in advance, we couldn’t fight it. We were left scrambling to find new childcare/transportation to and from school as this occurred when the school year had already begun. They did not try hard enough to make accommodations for our child. If something they tried didn’t work, they’d give up and reported to us that our child was a distraction for the other children or gave some other negative reason. Anything disrupting their schedule or curriculum was an issue and not tolerated. So parents, fair warning, this center is not ADA friendly when it comes to behavioral disabilities, regardless if you’re up front about it or not and ask for an extended transition timeframe.Childcare in our area is HIGHLY sought after and waitlists are miles long at the few childcare centers we have. So when our child was an inconvenience, no doubt the thought process was “Well the spot will be filled the following Monday once the inconvenient child is gone.” Because you know, money talks and in our area a lot of parents private pay for childcare.I will NEVER recommend this center.Edit to Add:In response to whoever commented back to my original review, this was not a safety concern. It was the lack of staff, the unwillingness to work with our son or with us as his parents, and again the complete dismissal knowing that you’d have another child to fill the spot quickly due to the lack of childcare facilities in our area. Your response is irrelevant as these statements are all facts and that cannot be denied.

The infant room was great, toddlers-not so much. When my husband tried to call corporate about a teacher picking up my son and slamming him down on his cot, no one would return his calls.

I truly do not know where we would be without the CDC in Waterville. Knowing we had a safe place to take our children when we moved here, it meant everything. They are the best!

I am highly impressed with the staff and teachers at CDC. They go above and beyond for our children. Our family has experienced every classroom that CDC has to offer as our children have grown up. I have children still at the center, but also a child in grade school that is thriving thanks to the foundation that CDC gave her! The love the staff and teachers show to each child is incredible. I can not recommend CDC more for a family look for outstanding childcare.

My kids have been attending the Children's Discovery Center in Waterville for a few years now and we absolutely love this place. The staff are amazing and genuinely care about each child that attends. They treat my kids like family and go above and beyond to connect with them and support their development. The center offers a variety of activities to keep the kids engaged and help them learn through play. From art projects to science experiments to outdoor play, there is something for kids of all ages. The curriculum focuses on learning skills like sharing, communication and problem solving in a fun, hands-on way.The facility itself is bright, clean and kid-friendly. The playground and outdoor area are perfect for the kids to get energy out in a safe space.Overall, the Children's Discovery Center provides high quality care and education for children in a warm, nurturing environment. The staff feel like an extension of our family. I highly recommend this center for the development and care of your own kids. Five stars!

We have 3 children that have been at Children's Discovery through every class and age group. From the infant rooms to summer camps. All day kindergarten for 3 kids as well as before and after care during the school years. My kids have enjoyed summer camp and all of the field trips and activities they include. Hands down the best teacher's and staff you could ever ask for. My children have all loved the time they have spent there making friends and being with the staff that are like family to us. We highly recommend Children's Discovery to other families!

I cannot say enough good things about CDC Waterville. As a working mom to 3 children, I look at the staff and teachers of CDC as an extension of our family. The care and educational foundation they have provided is amazing and our kids enjoy their time there so much that they complain if I pick them up too early. If you’re looking for childcare in the Anthony Wayne school district, I highly recommend CDC Waterville.

My son has attended CDC since he was about 3 months old, and the CDC staff has done nothing but show him love and support, on his good and bad days. He’s now 2 and loves going to school and I know he’s in good hands!
