Purchasesd a new vehicle August 2024. My sales representative Eric Johnson was great. My experience with the sales manger Cory Miller was terrible. I found SVG had a 2024 Highlander Hybrid allocated to them on Toyota.com. I called and was connected with Eric. Eric informed me that they had the vehicle allocated and provided me an approximate build date range. I made a non refundable $500 deposit to secure the vehicle. During the next couple weeks, Eric updated me numerous times. During that 2 week period, I was informed that the build date may be 2 months later (November) than expected. No problem. A couple days after that information was provided, Eric informed me that their Toyota rep contacted them and said it was in process of being built.
A few days after that, I received a call from Eric on a Monday early morning stating that the vehicle arrived last night, and would be ready for pickup today. I replied with excitement that I would be there either Wednesday, or most likely Saturday. Eric contacted me a few hours later asking if I could get there on Wednesday and said the sales manager, Cory would only hold it for 72 hours. WHAT!!!!! I found the allocated vehicle, made contact to purchase, paid a $500 NON REFUNDABLE deposit, was told the build date might be November, and then I received a call that it arrived and now I have 72 hours to pickup? I spoke with Cory on the phone and expressed how I didn’t agree with the 72 hour rule, and that I was never informed of this prior to vehicle arrival. I expressed that family health problem’s limit my availability to change plans without more time. At no point did he agree to hold until Saturday. Eric arranged for a driver to pick me up on Tuesday (1 day) after notification of arrival. On my arrival at the dealership, I walked in and spoke towards two individuals to the right next to main entry door, and said I was there to see Eric. I informed where his desk was and that he would be back shortly, no other communication or greeting from either two individuals. Later while paying for the vehicle with the finance person, I was informed “Cory” would need to also count the $11k cash I brought. Cory, counted while I sat across the desk and never once acknowledged me, said hi, welcome, happy for your business, etc. I now know Cory was one of the two individuals at the entrance on my arrival. During the process, I was also told I could pay the rest with personal check as I was not financing. At approximately 3:30 p.m the day before pickup at 8:45 a.m. I was told I would need a cashiers check. My bank closes at 5 p.m. and they would not be open at 8:45 a.m. at my pickup time. So, I had to hastily obtain a cashiers check. Again, Eric Johnson was great. Cory was terrible for me. I am in the market for a new Tacoma, and I would never purchase another vehicle from SVG Toyota as long as Cory is employed there. The worst customer service I have ever experienced in the buying of over 20 new vehicles.

So, I should contact the Marketing Manager directly? If they “value” my business, and “appreciate the opportunity to address my concerns”, why would they not reach out to me? I am not sure of the hierarchy of this business, but I surely wouldn’t expect my “concerns” to be addressed to their “Marketing Manager”.
I have dealt with the Coughlin Toyota, Toyota Direct, and Performance Toyota on new Toyota purchases in the past, and the experiences I received from them were outstanding. SVG Toyota was by far my worst experience of all. To add to my story, we were in a no fault accident on 7/28/24 that totaled our 2021 RAV4. So, I was in need of a new vehicle.

Fantastic! SVG Toyota went above and beyond to make my car buying experience efficient and enjoyable. They have great inventory, and the employees are knowledgeable and personable. We worked with Eric, who was responsive, prompt, and flexible. Overall, it was an easy experience, and I would highly recommend this dealership. 10/10

My husband and I were a bit stressed needing to buy a new vehicle as ours had broken down. Austin was a great help as we did test drives on several used vehicles. He was patient giving us time to make a decision. Once we made our choice, the purchase process was easy. He found us the best deal for our financing and after signing all the paperwork, we drove off in our new truck. We are very happy with our purchase. Our sincere thanks to Austin and the SVG dealership for a pleasant car buying experience.

I worked with Cameron, and could not be happier. I had to wait several weeks for a car that I had ordered, and Cameron kept me up to date on the process, and made sure that everything was in place by the time I got there to pick it up. He walked me through the car setup, including getting my phone connected, and he showed me all the extras. I am thrilled with the car, and it was totally worth the wait. I am really happy that the entire team there helped out. I should also add that I got some of the extras, but there was no hard sell on buying things that wouldn't make sense. I would definitely go again, and have only good things to say. It was a relaxing experience.

I got perfect service through Austin, he was very patient when my dad had to run for things I needed to get my new vehicle. Loved the service, very polite, kind. Thank you for making sure I had a new battery in my key fob when I picked up my car!

SVG Toyota is by far the best dealership I have ever done business with. When I arrived awesome Austin had the truck I was interested in out front and ready for me to take a test drive. SVG was very accommodating, and there was no sales pressure. I did buy my first Toyota that day, and I couldn’t be happier.

My car’s undercarriage cover came loose and started dragging right by the exit for SVG—I was 500 miles from home. Jacob and the service department were wonderful. They were able to clip it back in place so I could resume my trip. I was so thankful for the midwestern kindness.
