I actually work for point pick up platform that has lately been a partner with Heinen’s to deliver their online orders to their customers. Based on corporate contract Heinen’s has with point pick up, delivery drivers are only allow to execute one delivery order per hour, but conflict of interest in leadership position in Heinen’s Rocky River go above and beyond to assign more than one order per hour to their favorite delivery drivers. They have denied their involvement in this matter so many times, but I am not surprised why! Because they actively patronizing and fraternizing with those delivery driver. I am refraining from mentioning any name at this point, but if I get removed by them from delivery platform, I would be happy to share their names. They are actively accepting gifts from customers and their favorite delivery drivers while being on the clock. What a disgraceful situation to experience. I tried to complain so many times, but their response was retaliatory and would caused me getting ban.from this point pick up platform.

This 3 star rating isn't for the food its for the on-line shopping. The phones the shoppers use don't work. Twice, including today, my shopper texted me about unavailable items and I responded with a substitute. Problem is my texts DID NOT go through so I ended up without items. PLEASE get phones for the Online Program that texting works between shopper and customer. Thank you!

Dear Tom & Jeff, we’ve ( my wife ) has shopped at Heinen’s for approx 36 yrs. I’ve used a wheelchair for the last few yrs, hence haven’t been in the Bainbridge store lately. I did have the opportunity to accompany the boss last Thursday. The experience was simply amazing - from the way the fruits & vegetables were presented - the awesome lighting - the attentiveness to organization & detail - simply the overall positive feeling & pride in not only product but also service.( Kyle in the wine Dept & several other employees, all of whom couldn’t have been more helpful.) Their feelings of pride of service to their customers was palpable.Enough said, you & your crew continue to set a very high bar !( for which many are eternally gratefulThank you BF

Delivered a truck load of dry goods to their warehouse. Semi truck docks are inside a garage type setting. Must have been built for 20' to 40' short semi trucks sort of like their own trucks. What a cluster. Took 4 hours in and out.

Incident Date: Feb 27, 2021 The intent of this review is to bring awareness. My family and I have been patrons of the Heinen’s grocery store chain in Brecksville, OH for many years. For our family grocery needs Heinen’s had become essential. Up until recently, I have always found the Heinen’s staff customer focused with family values, providing excellent service, willing to assist in any way with a store full of a wide range of diverse quality products. Ever since this pandemic began, I am always welcome in the store and have always maintained a distance from other patrons and staff without wearing a mask. Unexpectedly this all changed on Feb 27, 2021. As usual on this day I entered the store and began my shopping routine; during this time I was approached by a store manager. The manager entered my personal space, less than six feet to engaged in a conversation. He then stated that if I wished to continue shopping, I would have to put on a mask. My response was that I did not need to wear a mask and that I request six feet of space to continue the conversation. The manager did not respond to my request and instead persisted to state that I put on a mask or I would have to leave the store. I reminded him that I am a regular patron of this store and it has never been an issue to be without a mask while always respecting the health guideline distance of everyone in the store. The manager acknowledged that he knew who I was and agreed that I have been a regular store patron for many years. I then stated, for health reasons, I am not required to wear a mask and would like to continue with my shopping. Again, the response from this manager was that I would not be allowed to check out without a mask. During this period, a second store manager arrives. I considered the first manager’s position preferring to de-escalate the situation on this Saturday morning and replied that he could resolve this issue by getting some basic items for me including steaks for a family BBQ. His reply and I quote “If I do this for you, I will have to do this for everyone!” This very statement from a high level Heinen’s store manager concerning customer service was unexpected, considering when a customer is offering a resolution to the situation for both the customer and now two store managers. It is disconcerting and crosses into the area of discrimination. If you do not wear a mask regardless of what the state of Ohio mandate allows, you do not get service. Is this now the new policy of Heinen’s Inc? I was then followed out of the store. State of Ohio Department of Health Q: Why aren’t face coverings required for customers, clients, and other visitors or guests? A: Face coverings are strongly recommended for people who can safely wear them. The decision to exempt customers from the requirement was made to protect Ohioans who cannot wear face coverings, such as people who have severe asthma or breathing issues, hearing aids, autism, post-traumatic stress disorder, or claustrophobia. In addition, face coverings should NEVER be worn by or placed on people who are younger than 2, have difficulty breathing, or are unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove them without assistance.... I always go to the Mentor store and today I had a bad experience with the produce manager. He was rude and that has never happened with an employee before.

Ed Thompkins has to be the most standoffish person I have ever met. I know he is not popular among a lot of people in the beer and wine industry.

Heinen's in Glenview, Illinois does not support COVID social distancing. The front end manager, Jason opened closed lanes placing my life and others' at risk for the mere purpose of no wait times for a handful of customers. Not right by any means. I was bumped by another customer who was unloading her cart as the cash registers place patrons back to back, shoulder to shoulder with no regard to their safety or following CDC and state guidelines. When I confronted Jason (Manager) he had nothing to say. When I commented to my cashier she stated that Jason does not listen to the plea and recommendations of others. Last time I will shop at Heinen's.

With this virus ( So serious) why is the store not requiring patrons to ware a mask? Love to shop at Heinen’s but might have to find a store that requires you to ware a mask!
