Cut my hair out!!! I left a review about a month ago happy about my service. Only to take my braids down and discover MiMi cut my hair out! During the braid trimming process. She cut WAY TOO CLOSE to my natural hair and as a result I have less hair than I came to her with. And it keeps shedding. She has not offered to company me for her mistake. I will Not Be going to this lady ever again. And if YOU choose to, make sure to trim your own braids when you get home. Because she may cut your hair out!! I won’t know the true damage to my hair until I straighten it but I am LIVID that I trusted this woman with my hair

I scheduled an appointment on Wednesday in the morning to get my hair braided Saturday morning. I’ve been texting back and forth with the person that I assume is the owner of the shop. She even asked me to call ahead and confirm my appointment. I did so as soon as the shop opened up, and everything seemed to be going smoothly until I was told that the woman who does the kind of braids that I wanted, wasn’t picking up her phone.I was told this at 11AM, and I was patient and gave them time. At 6PM, they told me that she isn’t picking up still. Needless to say, I’m irritated by this. I would have given zero stars if I could, but I guess the single star could be for their pricing, which was reasonable, yet it means nothing if I didn’t receive any service. I even bought the hair that the woman told me to get, so that was a waste of my time and money.

I received their largest twist size they do using marley hair I brought in. Price is comparable to the area. I am natural and they did not blow dry my hair straight which I loved because I hate using heat just for my hair to be in braids. I did have to wait in the shop for like 3 hours for them to finish up another lady’s hair because only one of them could do the style I was requesting. My hair was braided waaaayyyy too tightly and she trimmed the twists when she was done. And they used a small tooth comb to rake through my hair. The waiting comes with the territory of African braiding shops unless you’re the first one in the shop, so this was annoying but not unusual. I did not communicate about the other issues that I had, but I’m sure they would have been receptive if I had done the smart thing and spoken up for myself. Also my twists were beautiful and though it was only one person working she finished really quickly. Anyway, overall I give them 5 stars. I will go back and try them out again, but communicate my preferences this time and update on my experience.Service: Hairstyling

MiMi hair braiding shop is the best in Warrensville she is very Professional and is always on time. Every time i come into her shop i feel overly welcome and everyone has good vibes. There is no better place to get your hair done then at this braiding shop. Like I said very customer friendly and very professional prices are amazing and you cant get any better then that. Mimi is all you can ask for and more so stop over at Mimi's for the perfect hairstyles because with them you can only get the best
