Hertz did not have the mid sized SUV I had reserved and only had a smaller electric vehicle. Because the EV was smaller than what I reserved, I was forced to leave one of my suitcases behind as it would not fit. I was also not expecting to drive back in an EV which took much longer to get back home with longer and more frequent charging stops. Because of this I arrived home after Hertz had closed, so I had to return the vehicle the next morning and was charged more for an extra day. If they had the vehicle I had reserved I would have arrived home much sooner and would not have had to leave my suitcase behind. The Hertz employees did not seem to care about these issues at all. By far the worst rental car experience I've ever had.

Very cheap to rent a vehicle. Every family vacation we rent a vehicle and never had any issues.

This company states that they rent from 20 years old and up and allows you to make a reservation online. Then when you go to this store they just tell you nope can't do it you need to be 21. This is ridiculous the car was needed for a business trip. It shouldn't be allowed to book a car if your not going to rent them a vehicle.

I have been coming here for months now, and the employees have all been awesome! They are great with my daughter too. This last trip I came back with a broken window, unfortunately. I believe it was the manager i didn't ask his name due to the circumstances, but he vacuumed all the glass so i could sit to get home. He really didn't have to do that at all, but he was super nice and did it anyway. I really do love the employees here.

I made arrangements to pick up a Chevy Malibu (my choice, my money). Instead 'Q' tries to give me an Kia Soul, it's in the same class as midsize she said. Hertz had already withdrew the money from my account before I got to their business and drove off with the car. I WAS NOT AWARE OF A $500 deposit at the time of request nor did agent mention this because I used my debit card. I called Hertz customer service in order to get my money back since I wasn't able to get the renal.

Prepaid for the car a couple weeks out. Go to pick up the car and surprise! We need to charge you ANOTHER 500. If I back out I loose 100 percent of my prepaid money I was told. Stuff like this is why they are failing but I was dumb and went with the cheapest that came up on Google. Knew I should've stayed with Enterprise

If I could leave a zero, I would. Due to a car accident, I found myself needing a rental. Typically I use a competitor when renting for work travel but my private insurance booked me with Hertz due to a contract agreement with them. My first and last interaction. My insurance covers a specified cost per day. Hertz claimed they did not have a vehicle in that class so I would need to upgrade. Per their signed contract with my insurance company, they are supposed to offer an upgrade at no charge if they are unable to provide a vehicle in the required class. Hertz does not honor their contract and the upgrade was going to cost me an additional $110 per week. My insurance immediately argued this was not the agreement but this Hertz location said otherwise. In addition to the bait and switch in cost, one of their other rentals ran into the back bumper of my husbands personal vehicle while we were parked in the parking lot. I was told it’s not their responsibility for damages DESPITE being hit by THEIR rental car! Never never never again will I give any attention or business to Hertz! Terrible business practices!

If I also could give a "0" star rating I would. My husband reserved a rental for economy car almost 2 weeks before our trip to Cincinnati Children's hospital for our son. My husband and I arrived at Hertz and after checking in the young guy behind the counter mentions that he doesn't have gas powered vehicles, only electric. The guy then says electric cars is what Hertz is renting. As my husband and I were debating, a woman drops off a charger. He says for an upgrade we can take that one. No! We requested an economy gas vehicle. No where did the website mention electric only! We reserved 2 weeks before! They were not fair at all and the guy behind the counter had a very cocky attitude, he told us to download an app as he carelessly played around on his own phone!! What! Simply didn't care about the customer and our happiness. We took our business elsewhere!!!
