I came up from Miami and visited Fordleys store. I was not only impressed with his depth of knowledge but also his willingness to work with you on a sale. Very friendly and great prices. I will be a customer for as long as he is open.Miaminice

I'm not from Ohio so it wasn't until recently, I learned that Frank has 2 businesses, one for selling cars and a music shop. If only I had learned this this fact years ago. You see, some years back, I and my family attended a "fundraiser" Frank had put together at Yankee Lake to help a woman, whose son had recently passed away, cover funeral expenses. Sounds charitable, right?Except that isn't what happened in reality. Frank had his friend Stella handle the money at the door where thousands of dollars was raised from admission fees and raffle tickets. Between myself, my family, and group of friends, we gave about $300 alone. There were hundreds of people there. We estimated that cover alone raised about $2000 and another $2000 was raised from the raffle ticket sales. At the end of the night, Stella handed the family a container and quickly left. We soon learned why she left in such a hurry. The container was opened and the money was counted, nearly all of it was missing. All they received was a few hundred dollars. The heartbreak on the faces of the family as they realized what was going on still gets me emotional followed by anger and disdain for the low lives who could do such a thing.Frank was questioned about it but he played coy and didn't seem the least bit concerned that thousands of dollars was missing. Whether he was in on a fraud or not, wouldn't his lack of care and not handling such a serious problem make him 100% complicit? Before the fundraiser, I had heard from two people that he Frank Fordley was known in town by many as Frank "Fraudly", now we understand why.To exploit a mother who recently had to bury her son is evil and greed beyond comprehension.I'm surprised he is allowed to be bonded as an auto dealer. I can't imagine how anyone would trust buying anything from him, let alone a used vehicle.

I took a banjo to have a different fifth string tuner installed. The owner was very rude and disrespectful. The work was poorly done. I will never go to this business again and would not recommend to anyone else. Try daybreak music in Cortland.

I took my daughter here to look for a clarinet since she's starting 6th grade band. They showed me different clarinets in different price ranges and was very thorough about each one. After we selected a clarinet, he showed my daughter the parts of the clarinet, helped her put it together and showed her how to play it. He was very helpful and generous and I will definitely be doing business here again!

Listen y’all, there is never going to be a reason for you to justify spending your money at this store. As a professional musician and local music educator for over ten years please save yourself the hassle, and go anywhere else but here. Unprofessional, disrespectful, and atrocious service all around. Beyond disappointing.

Fast turnaround and good quality of service itself , HOWEVER appalling customer service. I'll never seek services here again.I brought a trombone to the owner for a minor repair of a slide ding -- he took a quick look and quoted an $80 job. He suggested a chemical clean also, however I stated I wasn't in a financial position to afford further services at the moment. When he called me to come retrieve the instrument, he stated there was more work to be done than initially presumed. At this point, he had already taken it upon himself to complete this labor without first contacting me -- a $150 job we did not agree on prior to the additional servicing. When I came to retrieve my instrument, I asked if we could agree on a price in between the two aforementioned, and he rudely responded "come back when you have the $150". He stated he never calls to confirm any services above $100, which doesn't make any sense. He complained about "the audacity" I had to question him in his store. I also tried explaining I was only looking for a cheap minor repair to play for my best friend's funeral adequately enough this weekend, he cut me off exclaiming "that's not my problem!" Frank's lack of empathy and regard is truly astonishing.

We want to say a big thank you Mr Fordeley for doing an awesome job refurbishing a trumpet for our grandson Caiden Freer. He was so excited you took time with him and showed him a few tips as he begins playing trumpet and his love for band.. You inspired him and we are so very blessed by your time and care you show the Champion community. May God continue to bless you. Darrell and Sharon Freer.

I try to shop local but not here. I tried contacting through Facebook, response was immediate but inaccurate and unhelpful. It felt like I was talking to a highschooler texting friends versus a business. I called the store and the poor customer service continued. Whoever answered was very rude and short with me. Clearly they don't want or need my business.
