Absolutely horrid! The front office personnel are rude, unprofessional, and incompetent. I had the unfortunate luck of having to sit in their waiting room for over 4 hours where I witnessed, not only my own inconvenience, but the most abhorrent behavior from a "professional" staff that I have ever seen. Three women, at this point I cannot bring myself to call them ladies, were extremely rude to just about everyone that walked thru their door! No "hello", "can I see your ID, please?", "please have a seat and some one will be with you as soon as possible", etc. It was all just - "ID", "have a seat we're busy now", "got your paperwork", "you don't have the right paperwork, you can't be seen" and so on and so forth! Disgusting, rude behavior that I wouldn't tolerate out of a 5 year-old! I watched as the three of them continued to tell their personal woes to each other before ever even acknowledging someone's presence! And then to top it off - SAT DOWN AND BEGAN EATING, before any one of them looked up and said nothing, just yanked her head as if to say "what do you want?!" Who in the world do those people think they are?! And how did they get such an inflated, unreal, sense of personal importance?! I would not treat a nuisance of a customer with that much disrespect - let alone the nice people that came in for service. They left the patients feeling disrespected and not worthy of THEIR attention - you could see it on their faces. What an absolute shame that people will treat others that way. I can promise one thing - as long as I live in Wapakoneta Ohio I will continually tell anyone and everyone that will listen about my experience there and go out of my way to advise people not to be a patient at the Lima Memorial Medical Center in Wapakoneta.

I had blood drawn and delivered to LMH lab in Wapakoneta and was called by them letting me know the blood was drawn in the wrong tube and they could not draw it there due to a four hour process time and the did not have a way to get it to Lima, she was very rude! I called LMH laboratory inside the hospital and spoke with Brenda who was very helpful and told me that they can draw the sample at the Wapakoneta branch but may not have ice, as ice is required for this sample, I volunteered to take ice with me and she said to have them call for a courier when I arrived. I went to Lima Memorial Laboratory the Wapakoneta location this am around 9:30am for ammonia level to be drawn. I arrived a the lab and was not greeted and waited for the tech to get done with another person she was working on, as another lady looked at me but continued to work on her computer. When the lab tech got finished I told her I was there for the ammonia level and I had talked to Brenda at the lab and Courtney rudely let me know she spoke with Brenda as well. She then grabbed the phone and called Brenda and spoke with her. She then told me to come on back and after two sticks and digging in my arm she obtained the speicman. PLEASE note she did not ask my name, date of birth or for any ID. I said I have my ID and insurance card did you need to see them, she said no we have a copy over there. I am not sure how she knew I was the right patient or that she had an order to draw my blood. Very discouraging and rude behavior, how do they know they drew blood from the correct person?? I will not ever use this lab again, I would strongly encourage upper management to address this as this is a condition of participation issue!!
