This is one of my favorite reservations in the whole emerald necklace..... It's clean, well-maintained and has so many lovely spots to just relax and enjoy your time in nature. The surrounding suburbs are well to do, so the people you meet on the trails and in the picnic areas are usually friendly and pleasant to talk to. I recommend the trails in oakwood village if you like to bike... And the the trails in Bedford if you're more into walking or running.

Nice bike trail, Buckeye Trail and hiking Bridal Trail Criss-crossing through this area. It is a single lane bike trail that is filled with lot of stones and roots. Although it is only a 2-mile hike it will give you a decent workout. There are multiple man-made boardwalks and a creek crossing. No restroom on site.

Great singletrack trail. Used in winter a lot, small segments for beginners, lots of variety for seasoned riders.

If you're looking for a more laid back trail experience, the Bedford loops are right up your alley. A mostly flat singletrack that weaves through an extremely scenic portion of the Bedford Reservation, you'll cross paved portions of hiking trails and some wider equestrian trails. Very beginner friendly with the exception of some steam crossings, slick leafy areas, and an abundance of thick roots. If you're looking for a little more advanced trail, head to the Dunham Road parking lot and hit the Touchstone Loop. While still mostly flat, the trail offers some climbs, quite a few bridges, and a little more flow than the rest of the trails in the area. I found the trails extremely beautiful in late fall.

I love the paved paths as an alternative to the mtb trails when they're too wet. You can get an easy 10 miles just starting at the southern lot at the bottom of touchstone, and then riding up to the picnic area and back which is a perfect little workout ride.

Great 2 mile, easy to follow loop, and if I was still riding a mountain bike this would be a fun trail to ride.

Nice place fora beginner or if you wanna take it easy, nothing to hard or extreme. Couple big hills so be prepared to pedal!! Good for kids and the whole family. I believe there are two parking lot s, one on Dunham rd, and one on Egbert. Will definitely go again. Better than Lake Metroparks, they suck! Hogbaclk ridge is the only thing lake county has and it’s fair. We only go cause it’s close.

So many hidden gems in the park! Went to do some endurance mountain biking but ended up taking multiple stops to enjoy the rock faces and waterfalls.
