Such an adorable little shop tucked away in the cozy downtown Vermilion area! We stopped in to see what the shop was all about. The associate was kind and welcoming & explained to us the process of sampling the oils and vinaigrettes! No pressure on sales just a kind welcome! You can sample the products & there is a little pitcher of water to cleanse your pallet! The strawberry vinaigrette was so delicious! I hope to return to choose some to craft my own dressing! So many options!

What a wonderful surprise. Went for a walk and stopped in this quaint store, found some amazing products and even more amazing employees. The customer service they gave was top notch. They shared recipes, ideas and some great conversations. We will definitely be back for more products. Another thing…. They will ship your items. If you’ve never been here, make a trip to do so. Thank you again for all your help.

OMG this place is awesome! The balsamic vinegars are soooo good! WE didn't taste any of the olive oils because we had to drive 2 hours back home but we will be ordering online for sure!

Wonder oils and vinegars that you can sample right on site. The staff is always willing to answer questions, and they give you recommendations that pair with your purchases. You can also bring back empties for a dollar off per bottle.

Wow! Today was my first time at The Olive Scene--staff was very friendly and explained to me how the product is set up. I was in for a gift and was directed to the seasonal balsamic vinegars. I know the quality of the oils and vinegars are top notch because I have received them as gifts in the past. Highly recommend!

Bought the strawberry and the raspberry vinaigrette, they have a lot of flavors available right now like cinnamon pear and dark chocolate and elderberry. Great on salads and good for you to no extra chemicals. Turned into Old bottles for a refund.

We stopped in for the Wollybear festival and met the sweetest ,nicest lady. I do believe she was the owner. After a wonderful conversation,we purchased a sea salt shaker and a large bottle of oil. We thought the salt was a refill jar, surprise! She told us about the ice festival, and other events in Vermillion. We will be attending as many as we can!.

Must, must, MUST VISIT!!! The taste testers alone are worth it! They have mail order as well but the store itself is an experience in itself. I’m a huge pull and vinegar fan so this is easily one of my favorite stores in all of Vermillion!

Great selection of olive oils and balsamic vinegars. Also sauces, pastas, snack items, anything you need to get creative. Nice store, helpful staff, convenient location and easy parking in Vermilion's shopping district.
