Sand is raked what seems to be daily. Set up a canopy and had plenty of room without invading others visual space. Water was nice and the depth was better than others in the area. Will visit again for sure.

Awesome little beach and perfect for those that are handicapped or elderly with mobility issues but still want to see the water this is the place for you with the parking being 100 feet to the waters edge and also a little boardwalk that is ADA compliant for wheelchairs I think you'll enjoy your time here and it's amazing for families and kids to go swimming or launch your kayak it really is a gem and I cannot forget awesome sunsets here as well and a bonus The vermilion lighthouse Park is abutted right next door to the beach so it's a two for one location I recommend it to everyone to take a break from life and relax for a little while here?

I know yesterday the lake had small craft warning but I have come multiple times when there is wood along the shoreline. For being a harbour town they don't clean the shoreline very well.

This place is a magical gem. Stumbled upon it a few years ago while looking for something to do and we go back all the time. The shops are great, lots of food options, and the beach there feels like you're on vacation. My pointer used to love swimming there. My shihtzu, not so much, but he likes laying on a blanket under a tree with me in the beach)Somehow it's a rare place where people bring their dogs to swim and everyone gets along, never any issues, and it's just quiet and clean. I hope it stays the way it is forever. It's a perfect place to spend a day relaxing. (And I'm not a beach person AT ALL)Highly recommend a trip here

This beach is the most accessible I have ever seen, pet friendly, and free parking to boot! Umbrellas on the accessible viewing deck and wheelchair accessible mat over the sand. The city should add a retractable water hose on the wheelchair accessible side of the viewing deck for people using mobility aids.The the reviewer who is complaining about the drift wood on the beach clearly does not understand that this is a part of nature after a storm. Many beach goers make art from the pieces.

Beautiful view. Cleanliness is decent but they havent picked up the dead fish on the shore for weeks it smells really bad.

This is a great little beach. Some people swim here, but we prefer to go to other beaches for that because it has a lot of sea weed and many large rocks in the water you can run into.We enjoy finding beach glass on this beach though. You can almost always find a piece, even on days many people are picking it over.
