If I could give a -5, I would. I didn’t know they were brokers, very manipulative sales people that lied about everything. Broken containers. Don’t sign anything w/ them. I could have used a pod and save $7000.00. They r crook’s!!!!

Great customer service and fair pricing. From Melinda, our on-site estimator to the person answering the phones and coordinated with the dispatcher they were top shelf! The initial thing that impressed me was that once I accepted the quote it was a flat rate without those dreaded extra fees. The reason I'm writing this review, however, is the team they sent to move us. The crew leader, Tom, is a great leader. His depth of knowledge was get helpful. Happy, Sean, and Patrick were energetic and fun living that goes to prove you can joke around and still get things done! They moved us approx. 3 hours door to door. The crew was extremely grateful and there was zero damage! They loaded up on a Tuesday and delivered on Wednesday. They even moved my much loved Honda Goldwing! If you want to have a smile amid chaos of moving don't look anywhere else.

If you want to be stuck without a mover, contact them. I met with Eric on 10/20. He seemed very professional and I even called the owner to complement his professionalism. He told me my moving dates were open and I asked if I would have time to get another estimate. He said it wouldn’t be a problem and he would let me know if somebody else was interested. I tried to book our moving date on October 23 and it was now booked. By This point, our other estimate had booked. We were not able to move our date. My husband has a prosthetic leg and I just had an ankle replacement and there is nothing they are willing to do to fix it. I was told that it wasn’t their fault because they have two salesman and the other salesman booked the dates. Maybe they should communicate with each other or not make promises they can’t keep.

We were excited to use American Way. Their consultant was extremely helpful BUT YOU CANNOT TRUST THEIR CONTRACTORS. The following happened and we as still in the midst of finding issues: - my son’s prescribed medicine was mysteriously the ONLY medicine that came up missing - precious belongings have been crushed and destroyed even though the boxes were marked FRAGILE. There is evidence the boxes were stacked on top of each other! - the screws removed from furniture WERE NOT K

Country Wide is a family owned small business. They are hard workers and have done great work for me over the years. I recommend them to anyone that needs a local mover.

Filled out a form on a website looking for a local moving company. Since I did that these people call me atleast 3 times a week! It’s very annoying! If I was interested in your bussiness I would have returned the call the first time. That doesn’t mean continue to call me every 2-3 days! I will be blocking the number at this point.

Employee stole my wedding ring--after they treated me like a liar and a cheat and ignored my phone calls I got proof from the police in the form of said employee on photo surveillance pawning it.

Absolutely do not pick these guys! We followed them through town one day and they were driving like maniacs I'm sure if there was any furniture in the truck it was damaged.

it is too easy of a survey. all 5’s across the board. John, Elsis our driver is a master at what is does. He fully took charge of both crews picking up and delivery. His courtesy and expertise was like I have never had before. 8 PCS moves and our final retirement move; his class of customer satisfaction is unparalleled. On his own, he bought newer hardware to replace the original furniture hardware( this is on new furniture) because “it would hold longer and safer than the or

Countrywide are pointless and incompetent middle men. When my family had to move, they only arranged the real movers to come get our stuff, and even then they were the ones how bungled the whole process. They did not send anyone to take measurements or look at our stuff. I had to walk around with a tape measure and read out all the dimensions with them over the phone. Not a big deal, but that felt lazy to me. On moving day, my family had everything packed and were waiting for hours for the movers to arrive. When they didn't show, we called the actual movers who told me they were schedule for the next day and that they were really sorry. Then we got a call woman at Countrywide who proceeded to berate me about how I was supposed to already know about the schedule change. This was a blatant lie.

We hired this mover for a long-haul move to Texas from Ohio. We were lied to time-and-time again. First, the guy who gave us an estimate said that, if we got rid of some of our stuff, our price would drop. We got rid of a lot of our personal belonging to lower the price, but low-and-behold, the price was exactly the same after the movers got everything on the truck and "weighed" it (I never saw a scale.) Second, the packers that packed our stuff broke a drinking glass and hid it behind a bunch of boxes that were already packed. It must have been a whole box of glasses because there was a whole box of glasses missing at the other end. Third, , we were told that the driver who was taking our stuff to Texas would be the one loading the truck. As it turns out, the guy loading the truck was not our driver. He was taking our stuff to their warehouse in Vandalia where everything would be unloaded, then loaded onto another truck that would get our stuff to Texas. They were also late at getting our stuff to us. Countless calls to Countrywide were fruitless. I even spoke to the owner who told me she would look into the delay and get back with me. Surprise, surprise, she never did.

After being given an estimate of $1,300 and waiting nearly a week for a callback, our estimate was changed to $7,000 with no reasoning or offer to cover the difference. We are moving on a tight schedule, and this has literally almost ruined our move. I may have to alter the starting date of my new position because of this company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will lie to you and waste your time. I am very disappointed with my experience, and I will be telling all of my family and associates to steer clear of this company.
