Went to a great quarter auction at the Amvets for Rescue Me animal rescue organization. This was a nice big place to have an event. The only drawback I see and the reason I did not give it 5 stars was there is only 1 ramp to get into the place and that is if you go through the bar (you know the drill, go in the back way to get to where you need to go) This is Amvets! Put in a couple of small ramps it would not be much and would be so much easier for those of us in a wheelchair. Well its been 3 yars and there is still no ramp in the front! Really, why is this so hard? It is harder going in the back way where there is a ramp because there is all kinds of furniture in the way. !! It really saddens me when AMVETS will not make it accessible for those of us in a wheelchair. We wonder why no one else does? ?

What a Very Nice AmVets Post.I used to belong back in the early 2000's and just let my dues lapse.But going back for the 1st Saturday of the month for 4 pcs of Broasted Chicken slaw a roll and choice of a potatoe or french fries for $10 is a great deal.Plus at 630pm the is Trivia with Nora Gentry.Doors open at 5pm and open to the Public.

We have rented this hall several times for family parties. Plenty of electric outlets for plugging in crockpots, warming trays and roasters. 2 refrigerators to use. Bathrooms are nice. It does need some updating. A thorough cleaning, a coat of paint and fixing of some lights that don't work would go a long way. Nice outside area for cornhole, etc.

Pork tenderloin was fantastic! Didn't stay for the band but food was great.

Located in great area with beautiful surroundings. Very nice banquet hall. Plenty of parking.

In Ohio and my winters in Florida our Amvets Post 99 has the best chicken wings to be found!!!

This is the place to be for any veterans in the area! Great drinks, food, and friends! Make it a point to come out to the post 99 in Vandalia, OH!
