Responded to an advertisement on a vehicle. I asked specific questions regarding its mileage and history and was provided answers accordingly. My wife and I drove an hour and a half to see a car that had 75000 miles more than what it was advertised. The car looked like it hadn't even been cleaned,the air conditioning didn't function and it was generally in bad shape. When my wife questioned the owner he responded that they had made a mistake on the mileage and that there is no room for negotiations.
This is what is called deceptive business practice. I would advise anyone in the market for a new or used car, not to go to Statewide Ford in Van Wert due to the fact that they are dishonest. There are literally hundreds of dealers out there that don't stoop to these antics to deceive their customers and I wouldn't trust this place one bit.
I'm actually going to contact Ford Corporate regarding this so that they are aware of this type behavior from one of its franchises.

And furthermore I retired from Ford motor compay in Lima and took pride in our company as well as the dealerships underneath them. I was hunting for a car for our daughter and saw the ad online and called ahead to see if there had been a typo. I was assured that the low mileage was correct and it was pristine on the inside and had been through detail and 150 point inspection but the exterior had sun damage from the Arizona sun. When we arrived the car looked like it had been on the battle field, The interior was dirty and instrument panel and and all the knobs were worn through and unreadable. Do not buy from this franchisee. The owner lied in his response and was condescending as though we should expect lesser because of the price. 7,000 is not an in

Five stars for this small, friendly dealership. We traveled from Indiana to look at a used vehicle we had found online. The salesman, Marc, was super helpful and friendly. Price was more than fair and we were in and out with our “new” car in record time and with no high pressure sales tactics. We were treated as people and not just a number - which can’t often be said of larger dealerships. Thanks, Statewide Ford!

Kierstan Baldwin is an angel in disguise, she was so patient with me while I went through the process of choosing a vehicle. I ended up wanting a ‘24 Bronco Free Wheeling Edition in a specific color & she was able to get it for me quickly. I had a trade in & she helped me through most of the paperwork ahead of time, so that when I arrived at Statewide, the rest of the process was a breeze. It was definitely a pleasure working with the StateWide Ford team. Austin Mitchell, our salesman, was professional through the entire process and always appeared to do the right thing to find the mutually beneficial solution. When evaluating the vehicle, any minor issue found was quickly addressed. I traveled from out of state to purchase our used F-250. Austin was my dealer, he was phenomonal. I am extremely happy with my 2017 Taurus. I was constantly being reassured and was given a totally transparent and understanding offer. All the staff were very kind and were more than happy to talk about the car and what options were available for me for my budget. Thank you Statewide and Austin.

I just want to share with you how awesome your service team at Statewide Ford & Quick Change are. This morning at 7:48 am as I was pulling into a local coffee shop, my car malfunctioned (best way for me to describe it). I called Statewide Ford and they were instantly helpful; said they were completely full for today but would call Quick Change (partner company) to see if they could help since I was literally across the street. They called them, then called me back connecting me to Quick Change. I went over to Quick Change to talk to them; they were extremely helpful. They told me they would look at it right away. I left them my keys and caught a ride to the office. Within 30 minutes of being in the office, Quick Change called to let me know the issue, that they could fix it today, and provided pricing. By 9:50am Quick Change called back letting me know that my car was fixed. All within 2 hours!!

Wonderful service from everyone in sales. Randy, you are awesome! Shelby, you are a hoot and we wouldn’t hesitate recommending you to anyone looking for a vehicle. We enjoyed doing all of the paperwork with Tony. And thank you Matt for getting the Bronco all spiffed up on short notice on a Saturday. It really was a fabulous team effort.
