“This speedway is a literal life saver. On Christmas Eve at around midnight my family was driving around in a borrowed car (after ours died) that was very low on gas and every gas station we went to was closed. Finally we pass this speedway and see a car parked and decide to give it a try. AND IT WAS OPEN! We were able to get home for Christmas and not spend the night at my uncles and aunts. So whoever was working that night, you’re the best person ever.”
“This is a great place! Love the space inside and out! There’s a fantastic bar inside and the outside has an awesome patio area! There’s also music on the weekends in the warmer months! The drive through is great and there’s many types of drinks available! The owners are super nice and helpful! They have really invested in their property and made it a fantastic place to visit and relax for awhile! It’s more than just a drive through!”

“Butternut Corners Market is perfect for what it is - a little convenience store on the corner so you don't have to go all the way to the grocery for whatever you need. They have assorted cold drinks (pop, Gatorade, iced tea, energy drinks) and beer, sweet and salty snacks, a deli counter with premade hot/cold sandwiches, household items, grocery basics like milk, butter, cheese, bacon, ice cream, canned goods, even some household cleaning items and a small selection of vegetables. They have an ATM and lottery tickets. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I stop by at least once a week, usually in my pajamas or something crazy, and they never bat an eye. I can't think of anything I would change - maybe ask them to stock G2? Pretty minor. If you see a crazy lady running on no sleep in her pajamas, perhaps with a small child in tow, that's probably me. Feel free to say hi.”

“Good prices on stuff but I went the other day I bought some jeans and chips for the children they had a markdown got home and found out there was mold all over the Slim Jims and cheese like just because I didn't notice it the lady that scanned it and bags it she should have noticed it I was going to take it back cuz it was too far out so took a loss on that”

“Only place nearby that sells unfiltered lucky strike cigarettes, me and a few other Actors and Reenactors who were filming a Hollywood production movie nearby stopped in to get cigarettes and drinks, the owner and a employee were stunned to see a bunch of ww2 German and Italian soldiers stop in but were friendly to us all and curious on the movie production.”
“Berea Beverage is my favorite, friendly neighborhood swill joint. Wide selection of great beers, at prices consistent with or lower than many other local establishments. Eventually you become a well-known regular. Which umm... your vices for Lottery or cigarettes are as bad as my penchant for fine craft beers and IPAs. Recently I was on a months-long stint of Great Lakes Commodore Perry IPS, at 7.3 abv I believe. Bout $10.09 six pack. Recently I switched to Rhinegeist Truth IPA, bout $10.90 after tax for a six pack of cans. Bottoms up!”

“This is the best Speedway I've ever been to. It's clean the workers are courteous and kind. Every time I go there I usually buy a sandwich and something to drink. Whenever I'm at the sandwich case the person working always comes and asked me if there is something I would like that is not there and that they will make me Fresh Sandwiches if I wish. No other Speedway I've been to does that. I live in Lorain County. The gas at the speedway was $0.20 a gallon cheaper than in Lorain County. I'm not sure which county they are in they are in Brunswick. I wish the speedway by my house was as courteous and kind and wanting to serve. Good job!”

“I'm happy to see this place has opened up, we need competition for gas stations around there.The store is neat and has basic snacks, drinks and, cigarettes; the young lady behind the counter was attentive and pleasant. Gas prices were on par with what you are going to expect anywhere nowadays; at the same time, Exxon does sell Top Their certified fuel.One thing I'd love to see in this store, is a decent selection of beer.”
