The most unfriendly unprofessional practice I have ever seen. The receptionist gave an aggravated grunt when I walked in like I was interrupting her day! Not a good start for a new client. The vet was no better. When I started to discuss my other dog, who has epilepsy, he immediately went into a spiel on how he would not get involved with a dog with that disorder. He repeatedly told me to take her to OSU. Even though it would be much more exspensive, there was nothing he could do about that. Said he hated the medicine side of it and was only in it for surgeries. $60 check up and nail trim for a lesson learned. I will not go back and recommend my friends and family not go there either!

Went to this vet in Jan.. I am grateful to this vet office in Utica. Our kitty was attacked by something. Normally, they don't see new customers on a Saturday. But after I explained what happened and that our normal vet was closed. They got us in. They were able to help our Kitty Rigby. Drain the leg that had swollen huge. Now, he is fit as a fiddle. Very accommodating, everyone was so nice. THANK YOU, SO MUCH....

While being an established patient at this office, my dog needed to be seen and I was told that there were only emergency appointments left that day. Went elsewhere and was treated efficiently and with caring provider. I will not go back here.

Horrible service. He was extremely rude and manhandled my poor sick cat. He yanked him around and scared him terribly. I would not recommend this vet to anyone. I hope other clients get better service than we did because I for sure will never go back here.

I can only imagine my reaction if the first employee I encounter at the vets office when I had to put a beloved pet down was so insufferably cruel & insensitive that she thought laughter was appropriate. Just wow.

My friend just lost his beloved pet and the woman at the desk thought it was funny and laughed. Then when he picks up his pets ashes and ask her about it she just walks away. Keep your pets away from this person anyone who can find it funny that your pet is gone and you are devistated should not be within a million miles of peoples pets.

I just wanted to send Dr. Ramseyer an update on Luna the Doberman who was cropped 1/28. She is doing great and I have posted her with backer rod 3 times. Her ears are starting to stand nicely. I'm super happy with the cut, she looks beautiful! Thank you again!

We have been taking our Bassett Hound, Cooper, to Dr. Ramseyer since 2015. He has always provided the best care for Cooper. Recently Cooper, who is 12 this year, developed a huge tumor between his shoulder blades. Dr. Ramseyer put Cooper in surgery right away. Thanks to Dr. Ramseyer’s excellent surgical skills, Cooper did fine and is back to his old self. Thank you Dr. Ramseyer. Without you and your great staff, our Cooper is still with us.
