“I visited Gentile's The Wine Sellers [at 1565 King Ave. in the "Fifth by Northwest" neighborhood of Columbus] for my first time on 8-30-2023.I have been aware of that business for most of my life and have frequently passed there while on my way somewhere else but had never before visited there.Several weeks earlier [8-13-2023], I had requested an Uber ride home from Gentile's [they had been closed at that time] because the parking lot of the Filipino restaurant across the street [Bonifacio] [that I had left because they had been too crowded at that time] had been too crowded for an Uber pickup.While waiting for my Uber pickup in the empty Gentile's parking lot, I decided to officially visit there at some point in the near future [obviously when they would be open]; 8-30-2023 ended up being the perfect date for that visit.The wine selection at Gentile's is large and is attractively displayed; the woman behind the counter [after I had told her that I do not drink alcoholic beverages] showed me their selection of non-alcoholic beverages.Gentile's also sells custom-made pizzas that are made at the north end of the store. They are not a restaurant which means that the pizzas that they sell are not ready to eat; instead, they are to be heated and served elsewhere.While looking at a newspaper article that had been posted behind the cash register, I learned that Gentile's had opened when I had been eight days old. I do not believe that I had visited there that day.It had been great to be able to visit Gentile's after so many years.”
“I went into this most fine establishment looking for a few obscure Ale's, Stout's, and Biers and much to my surprise they had them ALL??The Daughter and the owners wife ( along with their Bulldog) treated me with that very rare combination of friendship and respect.I am now a customer got life!”

“I didn’t know I would ever write a review for a grocery store but I am BLOWN away. I came SPECIFICALLY for some veal slices and I was directed to some veal Parmesan already breaded but when I explained I wanted it plain the deli department sliced some fresh for me! Amazing. Then I was shopping in the wine department with a bunch of things in my hand and the gentleman at the wine dept grabbed me a cart. So nice !! Then I found a beer that is difficult to come by in the liquor department and constantly greeted and helped if needed. Amazing unexpected first of many visits to come to Weilands!”

“Such a great wine store which is locally owned. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. They have weekly tasting, wine clubs and special events after hours wine tasting. When you have options avoid other stores and shop local. Always avoid over priced grocery store wine:)”

“The frozen margarita (the Marg Simpson) is so nice on a hot day. Lots of beers on tap to choose from and lots of bottled beer in fridges along the wall, meads and maybe wine too along the shelves on the far end wall. They do have a bathroom through the doorway in the back left corner. You can bring in your own food since they don’t serve anything but maybe some bar bar snacks or chips I think I’ve seen there. They also have board games that you can help yourself to. The patio connecting to Fusian is open to use which lots of people seem to not be sure of at first. Patio and inside the bar is dog friendly. This is the very end of the DORA boundary.”

“Muhammad and his team are amazing! The new owners are just as good as the old owner! They now sell vape and smoke items as well! This place is only a block away and trust me when I tell you were at Alexander's 5-6 times a week! They also will give your dogs treats!”
“Always call ahead (extension #4) before you go to the drive-through! They have a lot of day of staffing issues that result in the drive-through being closed. They claim the updated hours are posted on their website every day, but I have not been able to find them.”
“Very nice guy at receiving. Not the best place to get a 53ft trailer into and worse yet is getting out of there. There are several low bridges in the area DO NOT USE GOOGLE MAPS! To get out you have to drive three blocks up then turn left by the post office to get back to 5th.”

“The interior of Daily Growler is nothing special. A small space with a few tables, a small patio area, and a backroom with a few more tables for the overflow. The reason to go to Daily Growler? The around 50 taps of beer. If you are a beer lover this place is paradise. They have a ton of amazing beer options. Unique options many you will have a hard time finding at other places. Whoever decides their tap lineup must be really passionate about finding exciting beers. I recommend getting a flight when you visit. You wont be disappointed!”
