This is a great place for your children to learn very valuable skills that can be applied to their life as they grow into adults. All the instructors are very good at what they do an are very patient with my younger son who is 3. My 8 year old son loves coming here an learning new things every week. Love this place.

My seven-year-old daughter and I started coming here about eight months ago, because I wanted her to learn the basics of self-defense, and I was looking for a good mother-daughter activity for us to do together.At first I was nervous because I thought I'd be the only parent in class, but to my pleasant surprise, I found that this Academy encourages families to practice together, and a handful of other parents welcomed me and my daughter together. The instructors are all encouraging, even as they stretch students to push through self-imposed limits and reach new levels of fitness and confidence.While we've both received the self-defense training I was looking for, we also got something more: a friendly and supportive community that cheers us on as we become stronger together.I wholeheartedly recommend for the whole family!

Starting at Dale McCutcheon's with my 5 yo son at the time was truly just an experiment to see if he would like it. He did like it, but many times did not want to go back because it was hard!! Time and time again the wonderful staff told me to stick with it and keep bringing him (and yes we had tears a couple times). Over the next 6 years he has been challenged both physically and mentally, he has been knocked down and always got back up, and he has had tremendous support that has helped with his confidence and discipline while gaining a true love of the sport. My son is now a green belt and has focused goals of black in his future. I know with the wonderful knowledgeable staff, Black Belts and other participants at Dale McCutcheon's anything is possible for my son.We have enjoyed all of our years at Dale McCutcheon's Martical Arts and Fitness.

I’ve been here for many years and I love it here. It’s like I have one big family to support me when i’m training. And after working for many years, all the hard work paid off when I got my black belt. I fully recommend coming here. It’s always so much fun and you make tons of new friends.

My family has been a part of Dale McCutcheon’s Martial Arts Academy for the last 6 years, when my oldest son started attending classes. Since then, my younger son and myself have also started attending classes. We have all benefited from learning martial arts, becoming more disciplined and building self confidence. I have enjoyed learning self defense techniques and it gives me peace of mind knowing I can defend myself if needed. The community of people who attend classes here is so welcoming and supportive of each other and truly celebrate everyone’s achievements. The school also offers a tournament team for those students who choose to participate in Martial Arts Tournaments. My oldest son has been a part of the tournament team and we have made great memories watching him compete. I truly can’t say enough great things about this school and would urge anyone who is interested to try a free week and check it out!

We have been so happy with this School! Great instructors and administrative staff. The parents and other students are very welcoming to beginners! We are very happy with the values, skills and life lessons our kids are learning! And we love that our 6 year old, 9 year old, and 11 year old can all be in one class learning together!

My son has been going to Dale McCutcheon's for almost 2 years, and my daughter and I started a few months ago. Our family has loved our experience, everyone we've worked with at the school is great. They are very patient and supportive.

I have so many compliments to share about DMC I don't know where to start. Not only does DMC teach excellent karate skills from the top black belts, they teach discipline, courage, confidence, listening skills, dedication, communication and overall respect and love for others. Each instructor is attentive and gives so much time to students eager to learn. Each black belt was a role model for my son and someone to look up to not only in karate skills but in life. I highly recommend this school to everyone I know.

My sons has ADHA and has been going for about 2 years and the care of the instructors into his life is amazing. The patience with him is great. The changes in his attention span, attitude, and ability to focus is amazing. Great people

We just started a couple months ago and so far we have been very happy with DMC and all the instructors. It may sound cliche, but you really do get a sense of family. Everyone is very nice and welcoming and the kids- especially the older kids act like DMC is a second home. I definitely like to see that.My son loves attending classes, so much so he often stays for 2 classes in a row. He’s progressing very nicely and I’m quite impressed with the amount he’s learned in such a short time. He comes home after every class to show us what he’s learned. It’s really helped in building his confidence.The classes are run with discipline, yet the kids still have fun. This was very important to us because if he is to reach his goals, he is going to need to love it. It’s not sustainable if the process is unenjoyable AND hard. DMC classes seem to be a nice mix of both.We also did the camp and my son really enjoyed the throwing stars, knives and nunchucks. He stayed all day for camp and then wanted to still do classes at night. Again, a testament to how much he has been enjoying it! I would say the camp was an exceptional value for the cost. We will do that again next year for sure!
