This has nothing to do with this individual branch they have treated me just fine this mostly for the customer service that I have received from the customer service department since I have opened my acct. Prior to being customer my employer would write me checks from his huntington account that I would go and cash at a branch for a 10 dollar non customer fee, 2 forms of ID and what I assume is a quick funds verification by the teller. So in effort to make this easier I actually opened an account online and the deposited a check into the account which was still from huntington bank which was immediately placed on hold as non accessible money. When I asked if I could have cashed said check the answer was yes. When I then asked if I deposited said cash into my account would there be a hold and the answer was no. I was then told they would try to release said hold early which ok whatever get notified that hold is releases contacted bank agsin because money still not available and was told hold is lifted but it takes another 24 hours to process. Agsi. I asked if was present in branch this would not happen processing would be immediately. So you treat your customers worse than your non customers .
