“I am a master certified heavy diesel technician and I have a 2011 Jeep patriot that was acting up and I thought it was the transmission. I took it to Erwin because they fixed the windows in my wifes Journey under a recall. Anyway, 1 hour labor for their technician to tell me it was a clogged catalytic converter. I was skeptical. I took it home and removed the secondary cat and used a video scope to see the inside of both catalytic converters the secondary was clogged with bits of the internal honeycomb of the primary cat.
