I had an appointment today with Nicole. My concern was about the condition of my hair and what I could do to to make it look better. I came armed with photos and Lengthy explanations. She was so patient and kind but most of all really listened then took her experienced hand and did a phenomenal haircut. Also gave me tips for my concerns. Cannot tell you how very much I appreciate her talent, kindness, and ability to make me feel good about myself Thanks a million Nicole!! See you again ?

I was part of a group gifting a friend a gift card. A couple of problems occurred while trying to get the gift card.
When activating the card, the desk person said person trying to buy it for the group didn’t need a receipt, even though she asked for one. Well, the card didn’t get activated and when the recipient of the gift got services done and tried to use the gift card, there was zero on the card!! Kind of embarrassing!!
Also, when person coming back to pay asked if she should pay with check or credit card the desk person said it didn’t matter. It does matter… the credit card got charged 3%!!! $14!! Please tell person paying, there is a charge if you use a credit card. She would have written a check.
Sharing this so hopefully these problems don’t occur again.

I recently had a bad and strange experience at this salon. I went there as a new customer to schedule a pretty straightforward cut and color. The person at the front desk said they had an appointment the next day. They said the stylist was young and new but that they thought they could do my hair. They were very wrong. I told the young stylist that I wanted to lighten my hair color all over instead they prepared a root touch up and highlights which is not what I wanted. I wanted to lighten all of my hair a shade or so. This stylist’s hands shook while she worked on my hair. She seemed very unsure of herself and it almost seemed like she didn’t really like styling hair. I was very patient and friendly to her the whole time. I showed the stylist pictures of the kind of hair cut I wanted and she said ok. When she got me out from under the hair dryer (which blew cold air by the way) the young stylist told me that another stylist was going to cut my hair while she watched to see how it was cut. The other stylist seemed less than enthusiastic about doing that but they did it. The coloring and cut turned out ok but it does not look like a $150 cut/style which is what they charged me!!! And I couldn’t believe that the first stylist could not do a basic haircut. After I paid, the young stylist told me that she would have to schedule my next appointment when she and the stylist who cut my hair were both there because she needed to watch again how the haircut was done. I won’t be returning to this salon. The whole thing was strange. This is something that might happen at somewhere like Great Clips not somewhere like this salon that sells itself as a higher end salon. I can’t afford to pay $150 for someone to learn how to do something they should already know how to do.Services: Hair coloring
