I have stayed here so many times and I love the room and the service but today I had an encounter with one of the person working there, I really didn’t appreciate!…I forgot to call and ask for a late check out at 12 , I apologized to the cleaner who knocked on the door and told her I overslept and to give me some time to get ready, this lady came and knocked after a couple of min and talked to me as if she payed for my stay!…she was very rude!..I am sad because all my encounters so far have been really good and I chose this place over residence inn Marriott but I think I might need to reconsider now

Spotless. Great staff. Up to date fixtures and furniture. Comfortable bed. Small hotel market of quick food, water, beverages. Easy walk to Walmart if you want more.
Rooms: Furnished nicely. Spotless and smelled clean. The walk in shower was very easy with a grab bar and the mixer valve on the wall opposite from the shower head, genius idea!

Sad to say that this experience was not as good as previous times when we've used Home2Suites for family visits. The rooms and facilities are outstanding (new and nicely decorated rooms, indoor pool, good gym that includes dumbbells and a cable machine), but it seemed as though they were perhaps going through some staffing issues. The guy that checked me in was smoking in jeans and a tattered hoodie (I thought he was just a guest) on the front patio and walked in behind me trailing a the smell of his cigarette (and I'm not particularly sensitive to this; it was just really strong). He then proceeded to misspell my first AND last name (it's an admittedly unusual name, so I spelled it for him multiple times), which was only significant because the WiFi requires the guest's name for logging in. Hard to do when the name is misspelled. Not sure why ID was not required as it seems to be at most hotels these days (which would have resolved the spelling issue). And when we extended for an additional day, the rate had jumped from $139 to $189 and that new rate was not disclosed to me, nor did it include our Hilton Honors discount. For that, I will share some blame; I should have asked. But I also expect that a rate change would be disclosed at the time we extend. When I grumbled about it, the response was "sorry about that." That's it. When I asked if the desk clerk would be willing to do anything about the confusion, they did credit me $20, so I'm grateful for that. But all around, the facilities were great and the service was.... Not. We'll look around elsewhere for future family visits, and then go into it eyes wide open if we choose to give our business to Home2Suites in the future. It really is a nice place to stay, but there are a lot of good competitors in Troy with another coming soon.

Unbelievably disappointed in this hotel. Our 4 year old son accidentally left his Parrot and Deer stuffed animals behind and when I called the hotel, the receptionist said “o yes, the two stuffed animals left behind, let me get those” and then when she got back on the phone said “I can only find the deer” … so you’re telling me YOU KNEW there were TWO stuffed animals and confirmed this before I even gave the reservation number, but now one is mysteriously missing. People are sick. Hope whoever stole the parrot is happy that a 4 year old is having trouble sleeping at night.
Do not trust this hotel staff.

Food & drinks: Texas roadhouse on one side and outback on the other... Walmart just down the street..

Very nice.-Room was clean-The mattress was comfortable-The nightstands had outlets and USB ports-The vertical windowshade operated in a frame that blocked out all light.-Very well-stocked breakfast bar.

I chose this hotel specifically because they have EV chargers. The chargers state that they will work only for hotel guests. I arrived after midnight, checked in and let the hotel know to turn on the charger for me. Neither non-Tesla charger was functional. Very disappointing. Had I known I would have picked a different hotel.

Would have rated 5 stars but the accusatory manager regarding my late check-out request was really annoying.Rooms: Rooms were great with nice amenities. A/C fan was a little louder than I’d like.Food & drinks: Close to several restaurants.

Do not stay here. The first room was flooded and the front desk told me this was normal from the fridge defrosting and suggested sending more towels to the room to soak it up. After deliberation, I was finally given another room. Unfortunately, when I woke up, I had bumps on my arms and found bed bugs on the bed sheets and couch. The staff seemed underwhelmed when told about this and offered no solution other than an apology, for bed bugs!! Stay away from this place.

I reserved a room checked in everything was fine until later in the night I just gotten out off the shower laying on the bed and I hear the door open I jumped up and there were 2 ppl standing at the doorway I yelled get out thank god they did I was alone and female turns out I was given the wrong room number when I checked in front desk was very rude very unprofessional made to fill like it was my fault went and sat in my car decided to go back to my room this place isn’t cheap front desk watched me walk by knowing dam well she deactivated my room key so I had to go back downstairs and talk to her this all happened after midnight needless to say never got no sleep very very unprofessional and unsafe

WORST hotel experience of my life!!!! I have never been treated so poorly by a stranger and this was the front desk worker *who works in customer service*. After he was nasty with me I ask him to please not speak to me like that… I had my 3 young children with me. My little boy started crying. He told me to get out of the hotel or he was calling the police. Absolutely insanity! I will NEVER stay at a home2 suites!!!
