The guy was rude, works super slow, didn’t even fix the initial problem I sent my car with and still charged outrageous labor. I personally do not recommend this mechanic for professional business.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This mechanic was really rude just during the initial set up, then he kept my car way longer than necessary and didnt even fix the problem I needed fixed. Charged an outrageous price for something small and didn't communicate throughout the time he had my car I had to call him to check in. Very unprofessional do not recommend

I would leave no stars but that's not possible. But probably one of the worst experiences with any business. This is probably the First review I've ever wrote but I felt it was best to be informative. I came to this mechanic seeking help with an old 2003 Pontiac that was suffering from a coolant leak and was causing it to overheat. First the man Tony I'm sure his name is has a really bad attitude wouldn't wanna work with the guy so it's hard to do business with the man. Also he takes a very long time to get back to you on anything. After a lot of going back and fourth I was able to retrieve my car after 5 days of it being at his shop with it still having the same issues I brought it in for. The car still persist to overheat and still has a coolant leak. Completely dissatisfied and paid over 350$

I moved away from my mechanic, and a friend recommended this place .I haven't had a bad experience in the past 6 years. I am mechanically inclined, but time and space doesn't always allow me to do my own work. Tony has always been reasonable with my wife and I , and I would recommend him to anyone.

Tony is an oxymoron - an honest mechanic. So glad I found him - we'll definitely go back when we need more work on our vehicles.

While I lived in the Dayton, OH area Tony at Slemker's Auto Repair was my go to mechanic. Although I have mechanical skills, I didn't have the time or shop space to perform work, so I trusted Tony. He always got done the jobs I brought him in great time & at a reasonable price. A few times he got me fixed up on short notice for some long road trips. Highly recommended!

Worst place ever you'd be a idiot to do business here. Every friend that has gotten work done here was at another shop within a few weeks. I even had a flat and with no other place to go stopped there. The man running the business said he would not let me use his air and told me to go to a gas station... (With a rude attitude I must add). People like this should not be in a service industry and expect to be successful. P. S Mark my words don't do business with these people!!!

Perhaps its all just an evil coincidence, but judge for yourself: My wife recommended this place. I don't have time to do any of the repairs myself anymore. My first bill was astronomical, but that wasn't even the worst part. He kept my vehicle for a whole week longer than he promised. He didn't call me to say that he was running into delays. He just kept it. Brakes and rotors were just a portion of the total repair job. EVIL COINCIDENCE #1 I drove the truck less than 50 miles after repairs before brake fluid was leaking all over my driveway. I took it back. He said he'd look at it. I told him that I really needed the truck and could not leave it for long this time. The next day he called me to tell me that my brake lines where leaking and that all of the lines were rusting and needed replaced! The cost? $900!!! HOW IN HADES DO YOU MISS THAT DURING BRAKE REPLACEMENT? Or while you're installing tie rods?!!! And $900? EVIL COINCIDENCE #2 I told him that I would be there shortly to pick up the truck. I'm not paying $900 for brake lines! He barely spoke to me when I picked up my truck. We leave his lot and it was less than a mile down the road before one of the bolts attaching the brake caliper he repaired 2 weeks prior came loose and I was driving dangerously trying to find a place to pull over. A kind mechanic offered to repair the caliper and the brake lines for $100 plus parts and nearly choked when he heard Slemker's price. He also stared at me curiously over the "coincidences."

I went to there Auto shop the other day to get some maintenance work done on my car and did a very good job. It wasn't like going into any other auto shop and you come out with more problems then you came in with. My car runs way better now and the customer service was great couldn't of been better.
