We are in the middle of a whole house renovation and are converting our wood fireplace to gas. The person we worked with may have just been having a bad day, but he couldn't have been less helpful. It felt like we had said or done something to offend or anger him. We have since found other retailers locally and online that were infinitely more helpful and personable. Not sure how Myers has been around as long as they have with this kind of experience.

the price of the woodburiby fireplace insert was priced competitively. Installation went well, no issues. have used it a dozen times now with no issues.

The store seemed to have a lot of nice stuff but service was terrible. A man with a red beard kind of waited on us. He was very rude and short talking to us. Seemed annoyed with us. He pointed to a room off to the side where there were products of gas logs sets. We had dimensions of our fireplace but he didn't have any suggestions for the dimensions we had. We all stood there for awhile looking at the different sets then just said "ok" and we left. Oh yea, we asked if there was a restroom we could use, and he said "no". We'll shop elsewhere.

Great products, dismal installation. I spent $2,080.65 on a mortise mantle ($1,640.00 for the mantle, $100.00 for shipping, $200.00 for installation, and remainder tax). They were scheduled to arrive between 3:00pm - 5:00pm. The moment the installers arrive, around 5:15pm, I should have sent them away for reasons that will go unsaid. Let's just say glossy, red eyes. In their infinite wisdom, they decided to find studs by using a small drill bit and randomly started drilling holes. I had to force them to use my stud finder. Eventually, they found the studs. The bracket that secures the mantle to the wall required a total of (8) screws, they used (4). I attempted to remediate that by removing the mantle, but before I did anything, noticed that they glued, yes GLUED the mantle to the metal bracket. I suspect they used Gorilla glue of some sort. So, in the event we ever want to redo the fireplace, it looks like we are SOL. DO NOT go to Myers. Go elsewhere, anywhere. Don't bother calling them if you have an issue. They don't call back.

The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and took the time to explain the differences in the types of inserts that they sell. Answered all of our questions and offered some great suggestions. We will purchase your new fireplace from them this fall and will recommend them to all of our family and friends. John is a great salesman!
