Was looking for the white Christmas flowers. That was marked down, got them out of the markdown section and I get up there and the girl says these are not mark down.
I was upset because it was in the clearance stuff with all the other stuff. I got 2 of them She just said the bigger one wasn't marked down, but But there was a whole box of them. I hate when the sign says one thing and you get to the cashier, and it says something else. And I was not trying to rip them off at all.I told her just to keep it then.

I love this place! Really don’t come often enough, plus there are some great deals. Not like other craft stores where EVERYTHING is overpriced. Most of the employees were friendly but I’m giving 3 stars because as soon as I got to the check out the girl at the register dropped her smile and was very condescending towards me. I truly believe a business is as good as the employees. Otherwise got some great finds!

I was very disappointed in the service there. Jewelry shoppe items were on sale and I said something to the check out lady and she was very rude about it. Said it was only Jewelry items.
Yet on the hobby lobby site, the items I purchased came up on sale.
I will NOT be going back to this store again.

Never have I been so offended by a cashier as I was today checking out at Hobby Lobby.
One of the other customers was lamenting the state of the country and stating political and racist sentiments to the cashier who was politely nodding, but then as the older customer condemned all of the people she did not agree with to “burn in hell” the young man running the register agreed and stated that “God was on their side” and all Democrats were evil and not Christian.
One of the other cashiers waved myself and my wife and child over so I was able to avoid listening in shock to a store employee vilifying over half of voters in his community, but the damage is done and after discussion at home we aren’t going to go back.
I do not care what the beliefs of people are within the stores I buy from, but I will not allow myself to be insulted and vilified due to the cashier wanting to gain favor from a bigoted customer. Train your staff not to judge or discriminate as several of the statements made were clearly hate speech as the male cashier readily and publicly agreed to her vitriolic badmouthing.
