If I could give a negative star I would. I checked in today (Saturday) to get my daughter a fish tail braid done. We were checked in at 4p.m and waited 20mins after being told we had a one minute wait. The lady that was going to do the style said she couldn't which was disappointing but that's ok, another stylist was going to do it. The so called assistant manager said she could do it but refused because she was leaving at 5. Again that's fine. But this so called manager got so rude with me and her workers telling us all that it wasn't going to get done regardless. First of all who are you to tell anyone who's hair is getting done especially when a patron is paying for said service? She then proceeded to say that if there's only 2 workers, "formal" hairstyles aren't to be done especially after 3p.m that's the cut off time. I expressed to her that no where on any great clips website does it say any of that information. She said "well that's the rule" I explained I've been going to great clips for many years and had my hair done for my own wedding and have never experienced nor heard any such thing. She again told me that's the rule and she's allowed to change them at any time and they don't need to be posted online. She then proceeded to talk about me to her client right as I'm standing there as if I wasn't there. She then told her worker that I was to be charged 65.00 for my daughter's braid. A braid is considered a regular style which the cost advertised was 30.00. I explained to her that everything she said was false advertisement and I knew this was simply not true for all great clips. She was also verbally insulting her employees (Stephanie and felicia) she told Stephanie she wasn't allowed to eat her lunch and she said it right in front of her client. There were other patrons who had problems with her today from what other in the facility said. The person mentioned is heaven by the way. Heaven is supposed to be an assistant manager yet tries to make her own rules as she goes and treats her employees and patrons like trash. I recommend these ladies find jobs elsewhere if heaven doesn't lose her place there. I have never been treated so poorly in my life over a braid for my daughter's hair. But a huge thank you to Stephanie for staying strong and doing the braid for my daughter anyway. And trust me she was taken care of. I will be contacting corporate and I will not return unless heaven isn't there. I will most definitely call ahead of time to make sure if that

Everyone always hates on great clips for being cheap but who doesn't like saving money while still getting a good cut? They've never done us wrong.

Nice salon. Friendly and talkative hair techs. I had my hair shampooed, dried and styled. My niece got her hair shampooed and dried. The business was conveniently located near a Walmart, Hong Kong Buffet, Sally's and a vape shop.
