I stopped at Fisher Auto Parts on my way back from Michigan because I had a blown brake line I needed to temporarily cap in order to make it back home. Josiah Young greeted me at the counter with a smile and quickly helped me solve my dilemma so I could get back on the road and finish the rest of my journey. His friendly disposition and willingness to help made my situation painless and worry free. Highly recommend stopping to see Josiah “Joe” and Fisher Auto Parts on N. Holland Sylvania Rd in Toledo Ohio for all of your auto parts needs.

I swung by Lakewood Auto at 5:30 pm last Friday because the rear brake pads were shot on my vehicle. I pulled in and Don, the owner, and Jake, a mechanic, came out and asked what was wrong with my vehicle. They immediately started to identify the issue then gave me a ballpark for the repair on the spot. I told Don I needed the vehicle repaired as soon as possible as I use my vehicle for work. Don informed me he was booked up Saturday morning yet he shuffled me into his four hour Saturday. Lakewood auto treated me like I was their only client. I received excellent service as they repaired my vehicle according to their price range and time frame estimate!! Don, Jake and Ron will provide you with similar service! I love to see honest work from an honest business! I 100% recommend the folks over at Lakewood auto!

Came to Pete's after getting a super high quote at my dealer. Pete came in $900 cheaper (it was a big job)... he did what he said, he did it well, he did it on time, and he had a price that made it worth taking a risk on a first time visit to a new auto repair shop. Add me to the long list of positive reviews.

DO NOT GO HERE! I REPEAT, DO NOT GO HERE! About two months ago my check engine light came on. A diagnostic reading showed a cylinder misfire. We proactively took our Jeep to Pete's to get it fixed before the problem got worse. Boy was that a MISTAKE. At first we had a pleasant experience until about thirty minutes after we got the car back (the first time) the check engine light came back on. I was told they gave me a bad part...that didn't fix the problem. So, I was then told I needed a valve job (which I was later told by a mechanic, that lives far away but I trust, that shops don't do valve jobs anymore) They did the valve job...or tried to. They effed it up so badly that they had to put in a whole new used engine! I took care of my car. I changed my oil regularly and made sure I was up to date on routine maintenance. Now I have to get some used engine. Sloppy! Poor, shabby work. These people DO NOT know what they are doing. I was given back my car FIVE times and told it was good to go. when I gave them my car it didn't smell, it didn't vibrate when it was idle, it didn't blow white smoke out the exhaust, it didn't make weird noises. It was a perfect little car that had the check engine light come on. I am embarrassed to be driving this car now but beyond that....I am fearful that this car is going blow while my son is in it. I have called Pete's three times to talk to them about these problems and every time I am blow off. I am told my car doesn't have these problems. I have pictures. I have video recordings. My car is effed up 100% due to Pete's Lakewood Auto. Right after I got my car back (the "final" time) I noticed white smoke coming out of the exhaust. I took it in, again, because I was afraid coolant was leaking into the engine. I was told there was NO LEAK. They topped off the coolant and sent me on my way. The next morning there was a puddle of green coolant all aver my driveway as well as more white smoke engulfing my car. My husband was able to find the leak, by casually looking under the car. He didn't even touch anything. Furthermore the coolant is the wrong type. It is in the owners manual to only use zerex coolant in a Jeep (which is orange) because the green coolant will cause damage including a bust water pump. Oh and did I fail to mention, for the original valve job, I was told I would get my car back three and a half weeks before I actually did. Any time I wanted to figure out what was going on with my car, I had to call. The only reason I found out I was getting a new engine was because I called. This saga has been going on since early March. Please people, I urge you. They do not know what they are doing.

My car needed brakes badly. I called Pete's Lakewood Auto, and Robert expertly walked me through the various quotes depending on what was needed. When I arrived they jumped right on it. Jason, the mechanic throughly showed me what needed to be changed and why. I was in and out in an hour. Very professional, and very honest.

I found my way to Pete's following a series of unfortunate events and some very useful Yelp reviews (thanks a lot for your input, everyone!). Not only was the service here friendly, professional, and timely, it was also affordable - exceptionally so; notably so. So, awhile back, a cold spell hits and my car doesn't start for work one morning. After trying to jump it, I realized that wasn't yielding much benefit so I swapped a new battery in. No better luck with starting - the car was getting power, but there was no attempt to turnover. Hoping against hope for a simple solution, I checked all the fuses under my hood and dash, both, but I'm not so lucky as that. They were all intact. The starter, then. Long story short, I had my car towed to another shop where the starter got fixed for a pretty penny. They notified me that my brakes and rotors needed replacing like yesterday, and gave me a quote for what it would cost. Seeing as I know the cost of brakes and rotors, I also knew the substantial rate they were going to charge for the labor. I decided there had to be a more reasonable option, so I say no thanks and picked up my car. I spent a few days contacting shops in the area to get price quotes for a brake job. Nobody even came close to Pete's. I'm talking about a price difference of several hundred dollars from shop to shop to shop within the same west Ann Arbor area for the same job on the same car. I dropped my car off and they called to let me know it was ready the next business day. I picked it up and was charged exactly what I was quoted for, no surprises or dollars more. It is a little tricky to find this place unless you're looking for it, but you'll be glad you did if you have need of automotive repair or maintenance in the area. Next time my car needs some TLC, this is where I'll be taking it.

Called these guys about having some work done on my truck. Called during business hours & left them a message, because I got a answering machine. Telling them my problem. Left my name & my phone number. Never got a call back I will repeat that "Never got a call back". So I went to another place that answered their phone. I put $1400.00 in their pockets not Pete's. I run my own business & if I never returned any calls I would be out of business fast.
