THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST BANK I'VE EVER DEALT WITH!!! THE 5/3 APP DOESN'T ALLOW YOU TO SIGN IN 99% OF THE TIME & WHEN IT DOES, IT DOESN'T ALLOW ME TO MAKE A TRANSACTION!!!..... MAKE APPTS. & NO ONE EVER CALLS BACK!?!? POOREST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! I COULD GO ON & ON BUT I'M DONE WITH THIS "BANK"

I have had MULTIPLE issues with this bank taking money too early or double taking payments. There automated systems are so flawed and they treat you like you're the problem. This is why large banks are criminals. You're just a check to them.

Never answers the phone unlike other branches you should avoid even calling the Glendale branch if you have a question.

I've been a customer of the bank for a long time. The staff is friendly and helpful, even when busy I am in and out quickly. The branch is always clean and well maintained. I was relieved to hear with the new branch opening in Maumee by Meijer, this one will remain open.

I phoned this branch multiple times to receive a voice mail telling me to call back later, they were busy with other customers. I went online and set an appt. for a return phone call from the bank and never received a call back. I went back online and started calling all of the area branches in Toledo, until one picked up. I spoke to Chris at the Secor Rd. location, who picked up immediately, and he assisted with obtaining a wire routing number for a mutual customer. Chris was great and deserves a 5 star report. I'm located in Florida and work in a busy office setting. It is very disappointing that Fifth Third Bank does not take the continuous negative reviews of your local branches in Toledo seriously. A reply on the rating page is not cutting it in getting the problem fixed. I would assume your bank is losing business due to not having a live person to pick up the phone. One of your branches did pick up the phone, but immediately disconnected the call. Open up a account two week's ago and haven't received my card and I went to cash my check and they wouldn't do it and the lady was rude and told me to just close the account..And she couldn't tell me why it couldn't be cashed, and I had no problem cashing it last pay period but I couldn't cash it this week so I think I'm going to just cancel the account..?♀️

Amanda Farringer cussed at me because I wanted signed paper documentation that I went into a branch, tried to withdraw money, was denied, and why. That’s all I wanted and she cussed at me then cried to a guy with glasses then he claims he destroyed a paper with my banking information, where I live, along with a written note by Amanda that I came into the branch in a matter of two minutes from him talking to her to him talking to me. They can’t give me NO documentation that I physically went into a branch nor could they put it on my file that I went in. Not only do they cuss at customers but they are very secretive of your information so beware to not being with fifth third bank

Fifth third is a terrible institution. They changed my account type without warning and started charging $25 monthly service fees which they would only partially refund. I will never bank here again.
