Awful bank. Switched to Directions Credit Union due their fees and LOW interest rates. Closed on holidays that the credit union is open. No wonder banks are failing.

Normally quick. Polite. Well always polite. Today just needed a new print out fir my new management at work for direct deposit. In past clerk prints out in 1 minute. Today was told to take a seat and wait for a banker who was clearly very busy with someone else. Clerks were just lazy today and didnt want to do their job.

Called my bank to day and caught an attitude from the worker, it's sad when the employee only wants to listen to half of what I was conveying about my situation. Then back talk and argue w. Me.He said come see me like he wanted to fight or something.I will be getting a new bank tomorrow and have my direct deposit sent where I'm treated with respect.I'm too old and not putting up with a bank puppet that has a better than attitude and no people skills.

They are nice, but I suggest they improve on their drive thru process and wait times. It takes several minutes to process a withdrawal. It seems there's always something, low staff, machine not working, etc.

They made good money off of me while I was unemployed during the pandemic. Over $1000.00 in fees. Personal and Business account. Had to close my business due to COVID. 53's fees didn't cause it but sure didn't help. I made my last deposit tonight and I am closing the personal account 10/29/2020 (if they'll be so kind). Not angry, just very disappointed this practice was acceptable to them.

The absolute WORST in customer service! I was offered checks to pay off higher credit cards and "save." Unfortunately, I used the check that expired the day before they received it. Despite having checks that were not expired, they refused to honor the agreement, charged over $150 in fees for the first month, and will continue charging full interest. I had been a loyal customer for 15 years. I will NEVER use them again!

I have been with 5/3rd for well over a decade. I have heard the horror stories about their dishonest banking practices and over-fees, but I stayed with them because I am disabled and it is difficult for me to get around. However I have had nothing but one problem after another with this bank! Last month they charged me over $300 in overdraft fees. It started by a charge that was made on my card (made in a place in Michigan, about 3+ hours away, that i was actually at 3 days before the unauthorized charge, but not on that date). I tried to fight the false claim, but they refused it because they said that it was made my card, even though it never left my possession. That false transaction caused a overdraft fee, but they kept charging me overdraft fees because of their overdraft fee, and there was NOTHING that I could do about it! I had even gone into my normal bank, talked to people that knew me, explained the horrible situation that this had put the kids and I through, and they still did not fix their error! That is not even 1/10 of the issues that I have had with them, but I don't want to go on and on. The bottom line is that Fifth Third Bank is a corrupt institution that should not be allowed to continue doing what they have been doing! My warning to anyone looking at this bank for an account.... Save your self the frustration and MONEY and go to another bank!

Ross Stambaugh & Lisa are very rude & quite unprofessional! If they have an attitude with you beware they will do everything in their power to embarrass you.
