I love this shop because they are conveniently located, have great and quick service, not to mention everything you could possibly need for a painting project. If you need paint, brushes, etc, stop in here. Benjamin Moore paint is worth the money and they can match any color from any other brand.

My contractor recommended I see John for color matching an exterior house stain. He did a perfect job! He also recommended some painting tools that are the BEST I've ever used. It is worth paying a smidge more for professional tools so the paint doesn't splatter everywhere and your roller doesn't keep misaligning on the arm. Highly recommend this store!

John at Color Concepts was recommended to me by a friend and neighbor who raved about how much he'd helped her while she was painting the interior of her new home, answering all of her questions along the way and even helping her with custom colors. Now based on my handful of trips to this store I have come to think of John as a sort of paint project concierge. He's helped me with questions on stripping wood, referred me to good exterior home painters, coached me on best paint types for different rooms, techniques, best tools to get the job done, and even gave me step by step instructions on refinishing an old teak patio set we scored at a bargain. I wrote down his instructions for refinishing the teak, took home some recommended marine oil and sandpaper, and am posting a photo of the stunning before and after! I'm honored to get to post the first review of this store and consider John to be a pretty fantastic community resource for the home DIYer. (I also see pros strolling in and out all the time picking up their supplies so I guess the secret is out.)
