If I could give zero I would. This comapny has the worst customer service, the worst billing rates, and thee absolute worst internet in the area. Why would anyone use buckeye then?? Well because they have a some how legal monopoly as the ONLY internet service provider in most of the city of Toledo. So if you live in the west like me you HAVE to take buckeye. This company really needs to be shut down, insane they get away with this crap.

I work from home and experienced an outage due to “maintenance” in the area.
I called and requested documentation verifying the outage to turn in to my job and literally spoke with four different reps and a supervisor and the letter still has not been sent with the correct verbiage. I’m not sure what’s so hard about putting detailed verbiage on an outage letter but as of today it’s going on day two that I have called everyday multiple times and the issue still has not been resolved.

I don’t have anything nice to say about Buckeye for our ISP, we’ve used it for two years and there’s constant problems and outages. I can’t wait for fiber in my area.

Literally a waste of time and money. My internet has been off for a month because we were in California and to restore it they want us to pay the month we didn't use a reconnect fee and some other made up fees on another fee lol. Hopefully cheaper and better internet providers come to toledo oh. I really dislike this service.

Just had the conversion to fiber completed. The installer, Jose, did an excellent job and completed his work in about 90 minutes. Everything is working perfectly. Very happy with our experience.

Just tried to file a complaint about customer service reps giving me false information about who would be coming out and continuing to not resolve my internet connectivity after weekly calls for a month and brushing off my concerns. Told call rep Brian that I wanted to talked to supervisor and my concerns to file a compliant and he kept giving excuses on why I can’t. First he said it would look bad on him, then he said that he needed to give the supervisor the information, then when I continued to ask how to talk directly with my own words on compliant, he told me he had to do a compliant form to the supervisor and they will call me back. When addressing my concerns he said the first tech “dropped the ball” in getting my maintenance ticket it in back on 10/2/24 where a previous call rep stated supervisor may have thought it did not warrant a ticket yet. When I told Brian why when call rep could see a maintenance ticket was to be put in they could not talk with supervisor of tech on why it was not sooner, he said they do not get that information. I then shared how he just told me that the tech dropped the ball and how could he know that if they don’t know why a ticket was not put in. He did not say anything and changed the subject. He could have at least apologized for saying something untrue. Funny how out of the 5 calls I have made for the last month this one is the first where I did not have a survey after. They truly just want to give false statements to make you happy in the moment, get you off the phone and know that you can’t actually reach a supervisor when you call back. Buckeye just does not care about their customers at all and rely on them being to overwhelmed with their own lives to have the energy to follow up on their poor service.

They haven't fixed the problems I've been having for over 10 months. They said they would credit my account and haven't, they said that multiple times and I still was charged repeatedly full price for something I can barely use. This company sucks and has a monopoly in the area

This is a monopoly, Buckeye does not offer any competition. Also Buckeye won’t allow any competition in Lucas county as they made a deal with Lucas county long ago. Also Buckeye won’t allow any senior citizen discounts. I mean a lot of the clientele are elderly people and they charge just for cable t v like $185.00 for just basic cable. Also if you purchase you own modem and router they hate it as they can’t throttle the speed of your internet when they deem that you have used to much internet. I mean they are not that good if they can’t handle competition. I hope and prayer that the block family sells to Verizon wireless or t mobile. It’s price gouging and a monopoly, also they over talk you into upping your internet speed just to make a buck because they throttle the speed to make you increase the speed. This is disgusting and Toledo has sold the citizen that live in Lucas county down the toilet for corporate greed. I hope that buckeye goes bankrupt. They don't believe is capitalism!

I got a new tv ,and a new up graded fire stick they said I should have ,it will dtop the black outs and the wifi symbol washing ,but no it didn't. I have to un plud the tv ,the firestick and the new white box ,when it decides to it . This isn't the best . Cable was better

This has been going on for 2 weeks! ARP attacks, trace route attacks, on and on for 2 weeks. I changed ISP and it's quiet now huh go figure.

“High speed” I can’t even stream a show with a single device with their 400mgb up 5 down without constant buffering, they overcharge, constantly having “high traffic” slow downs. They been working on fiber for 2 years no progress and can’t seem to get my internet working even decently despite me living right next to campus.
