I want to thank Jacob for diagnosing and replacing the agitator and button on my washer . Both tines he came he was so polite and professional and showed up when he said he was coming . He went straight to fixing and replacing and on to the next call . He was wonderful !

The owner will lie or make excuses for horrible service! On yelp he said he didn’t ever have a customer by my name until I posted screenshots of his employees calling my phone or checks cashed. Look at all the bad reviews it is always the customers fault or they never serviced them. Says a world about the owners character!!!My oven broke down the day before Thanksgiving. The service man came out unscrewed a few things, did a google search then told me my overheat safety fuse popped and that you can not reset those. Instead he had to order parts. $100 for that visit. A week later they say the part is available and I schedule a time for him to come back out. He came back and THREE hours later he says well the fuse was able to be reset so it must be the wiring fried from me using self cleaning twice. He said it would be very expensive to replace. He then asked about my husband or boyfriend as if it is any of his business or was it an attempt to see if anyone else would be upset? He did not bother to even attempt to see what was wrong during the initial $100 visit. I said why didn’t you find this out the first time you came out. He said well it’s always the fuse that needs replaced. (Even though he was able to reset those the second trip out when he said they couldn’t be. I wasted 4 hours and $100 on someone who clearly didn’t know what he was talking about.

Yikes! This was the worst time I had with this company. A low voltage wire slipped out of its harness that goes to the thermistor ( a known issue with my make and model) EASY FIXVisit 1. Did not even look at the washer and ordered a new thermistorVisit 2 actually took off cover. Oh it’s just a loose wireOffice call 1 ( after arguing that we were their costumers. Had our name wrong 4 different times) washer needs a new thermistor. We returned the part. Will be another weekVisit 3 ( starts taking apart dryer) why are you taking apart my dryer? Oh sorry wrong call. Replaces thermistor in the washerVisit 4. Now my dryer isn’t working. Also the washer is leaking now . Fixes dryer belt. Probably a kinked hose. Washer stops leakingCall2 I am now frustrated because I know that it’s just the wire and it’s been 3 weeks of struggling to do laundry. Office says tech says to get a new control board. I argue that it is the wire. I refuse to purchase a control board and request a different tech. Office says I can’t have a different tech because that’s not their policy. I argue with them about a new tech but am denied.Call 3 There are expoed wires. I refuse to let the same tech come back.Call 4. Argue about the control board again. They finally agree to send someone else outVisit 5 jimmy comes. Takes him 5 seconds to see the wire. fixed the wire as best he could and saves the day. If I could give just jimmy 5 stars I wouldI don’t know what’s going on over there, I’ve usually had good experiences.

I do not understand how this company can possibly have an average rating above 4 stars. I suspect that they are incentivizing reviews in order to maintain their current rating. Every single experience (5+ at this point) has been extremely poor and left me feeling frustrated. Their customer service representatives even answer the phone rudely. It a true shame that they control the appliance repair service market in Toledo.Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair

Called Ace out a few months ago to repair our dishwasher. Tech was very professional, diagnosed the problem and made the repair as soon as the part came in. He talked me into the monthly protection plan and and I was a bit skeptical at first...but I'm telling you...if you haven't signed up yet, DO IT! Fast forward a couple months and the same dishwasher, as well as our refrigerator freezer, had issues. Called Ace and Mike came out to fix both problems. Had to order one of the parts, but it didn't cost a dime...he even upgraded the drain system in the back of the freezer. Highly, highly recommend Ace as well as their protection plan. It just saved me several hundred dollars in repairs!!

I had called to have my LG refrigerator serviced as it just stopped working. The lady taking the call was professional and quickly had me scheduled the same day! On my way home from work I received a phone call saying they could come earlier fantastic! I believe my service mans name was Ross? He was great and knew what the problem was, as this particular issue has been plaguing the LG refrigerators. However, they no longer fix this problem in LG refrigerator's because it's not cost effective. He informed me it was still covered by my warranty even though I'd called LG the previous day and they told me it wasn't. So, I currently have someone coming out Monday to fix it free of charge. I did still have to pay the full fee of $99 for a service call for a 10 min. diagnostics call out...which is a little pricey but they were great. ? If I have any issues in the future that my husband can't repair I'd call them again.Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair

A/C wasn’t cooling. Called one company and couldn’t get out until late July unless I call after hours for emergency higher price. I called Ace Appliance Sales & Service they came out same day. Service tech came on time called before. Was able to fix it. Price was reasonable. Super friendly honest and wouldn’t hesitate to contact them again. Thank you for coming same day on this hot day. What a life saver.

I had a misunderstanding of the terms of the service. The owner, Matt reached out personally to resolve it. We spoke at length and he was very reassuring and is willing to work with me directly to resolve my issue. Owners like Matt are the reason I try to support local and family owned businesses. I will recommend Ace Appliance Sales & Service to others who need their services. I would give 5 stars pending future interactions because I had some difficulty with customer service.
