The people there were very nice. Just be sure to get your pet checked for ringworm and have their teeth checked too. It's been a struggle trying to find a vet who will help the cat I adopted from here, and I would have had these health issues taken care of weeks ago if I had been aware of them at the time of adoption. I have emailed them a couple times in the past and haven't gotten a response back so I'm not sure if their email works.

The BEST rescue/sanctuary ever! Great to deal with for animal rescue/placement. Lots of fundraisers for food and medical care. Had a Holiday Bazaar, Christmas Miniature class, 3D Valentine class to be held Feb 10th, and lots of open house time to meet all the animals. Go visit and take home a best friend (my Bear is an alumni)!

Compassionate volunteers provide amazing care to the sweetest animals. If you love animals (cats, dogs, farm) and have a few hours to spare each week, consider volunteering. It will change you!!

Everyone’s there was so kind and generous, as to explaining about the animals and their names and their care, and how they came to be at the sanctuary. We had hoped to see Fotis but not this time so we’re looking forward to the next visit with the possibility that we will get to see our dear Fotis. Very caring and conscientious group of folks, working and volunteering at the sanctuary.

They are a great team! My daughter enjoys learning new things and volunteering there. They really care about the rescue dogs and cats they acquire, getting them better and finding them the best and safe forever homes. And we recently just adopted a kitten that she had been bonding with for some time, if you are looking to care for an adorable pet, go check them out.

I've been fostering with OFS for a little over a year now and every day I'm amazed at the work that this *all-volunteer* rescue is able to do! With the number of animal they take in, the high standards of medical care, the incredible support for fosters, etc., you would never know that every single person who "works" at or for OFS is a 100% unpaid volunteer. All hours of the day and night there are volunteers for OFS taking care of sick, injured, scared, feral, abused, abandoned, neglected, and lonely animals. They pour everything they have into each and every cat, dog, llama, pig, donkey, goat, horse, and cow that comes onto the property. They never give up on an animal, and I've seen so many of them on death's door turn into healthy, trusting, affectionate furballs being held in the arms of their new, loving, forever family. If I've ever seen a complaint or bad review it's been because calls weren't answered or applications weren't processed fast enough. Believe me, everyone at OFS wants these animals adopted into safe and loving homes as fast as possible, so if they aren't answering phones or emails it's only because there are no employees; there are no managers or receptionists or techs working their 8hr shift...there are only volunteers taking care of the latest batch of cold and starving kittens that were dropped off at the door, or the dog that was abandoned and got hit by a car, or the cat that was set on fire and dropped out of a window. There are volunteers cleaning dozens of litter boxes, filling clean water and fresh food. Animal rescue is a thankless job, but Our Farm Sanctuary doesn't do it for the glory that they know they'll never get...they do it for the animals who have no one left to fight for them. They do it to bring hope, safety, comfort, and a home to those who don't have it.

I’m using my full name in plain sight. Funny how the responses from (the owners) never actually use their names! Maybe because they want to accuse people without proof while cowering behind eminently! So they are holding our cat. We moved and left our toodles with someone we thought would love her. That person dropped her off there & lied that we abandoned her. Called my wife yesterday (because we have her chipped just in case this happened) & says they have her but we cannot have her back. Had my wife in tears saying we are banned from adopting nationwide & how horrible we are! Why call at all you may ask, first she said to get toddles medical records but in the same conversation says they actually have them. They called to hold it over our heads that they have my 9 year old daughters cat that I thought we were giving to a responsible adult! Now says they are not going to respond to any more requests or questions about getting her back! We want her back in a world full of cats with no homes they are keeping us from her just to be cruel and lord it over us! So now that I left a poor review they contacted me threatening to call the police if I contacted them again! Then proceeded to text my wife at 6am this morning harassing her about this review. These people are unstable & will not listen to reason, only interested in being “the good guys” and anyone that wants answers and have questions then are automatically “evil”. Read the past poor reviews, they all point to this owner that is more “righteous” then all us poor ignorant commoners.

So grateful for this organization. They helped me find a home for a double positive community cat that I had been taking care of. They even kept me updated on how he was doing up until his adoption because they know how much I cared for him.

If you are looking to adopt, look no further. From the first moment I stepped into this sanctuary, I could feel the love every volunteer feels for these animals. I have adopted two cats (so far) and became a volunteer myself. This place is simply amazing and has become my happy place. You owe it to yourself to check it out!

People that really give so much of themselves to caring for the animals and making sure potential adopters are fitted with the right animal. Fostering with them has been such a great experience. There are plenty of challenges but the team is always there day and night to help however they can. The support from them doesn't ever stop. Just an amazing experience with lovely people.

I have volunteered here, and adopted animals from here in the past. Our Farm Sanctuary is such an amazing place!! They do so much work, and it's all so worthwhile. All of the people here put their heart and soul into making these animals' lives better. The volunteers are friendly, the animals are so fun and so cute. If you're thinking about volunteering, adopting, or just want to see some really cute animals, swing by Our Farm Sanctuary. You won't regret it!
