“These guys are amazing! As a one car family it was very hard on our family without our car. I found out on Sunday from auto zone that I needed a new timing chain we called 6 places who all said they would not be able to do the job for us due to it being a large job and the liabilities it would make them have due to having to drop the engine, I called Gearheads in a panic on Monday and they were able to get us in on Thursday and gave me the estimated bill by Friday at 330 I was getting a call that my car was ready for pick up. When I went to pick up the car my bill was less than the estimated amount which shocked me. They will always have my business and I have already referred a friend to them!”

“These people are LEGIT with a capital L. I had them rebuild my 2002 Suburban about 10 years ago and that thing ran until I scrapped it. They just replaced my girlfriends cvt on her honda fit. If this tells you anything about their quality of work, the first transmission they received they did not like, instead of going the easy route and putting it in any way, they sent it back and asked for a different one. Most shops would have thrown it in, taken our $ and sent us on our way. They are extremely fair with their prices and do not try to hide any fees to surprise you with later. The first shop my girlfriend called quoted her over 1,000$ more than Jim's without even looking at the car first. Their customer service is also top notch, very responsive, freely sharing information. Not a single surprise during the whole process. I will never take my transmissions anywhere else but Jim's. Honesty and quality work are unfortunately hard to find these days, not here. They've been around as long as they have for a reason.”

They inspected all the parts and rebuilt the trans in the new case and even cleaned/ painted it nicely all within just a few days. It looked great-shifts and works just like before. “He is so nice. I got a car from a dealership financed and was too excited that I got approval for a loan that I didn’t get a pre inspection. I bought the transmission and he replaced it. A very fair price! He didn’t screw me over because I’m a female. A place in Cuyahoga Falls, who I brought my car over for an inspection (chose because prices were transparent) tried to screw me over for $3500 for a transmission replacement because I’m female and they bought the part from under me. First their price was $2500. Here they are very fair and actually honest. You won’t be paying someone’s ridiculous overhead here. Yeah the codes will run up weird after getting a transmission replaced, but they will go back to normal in a day.”

“I have never written a google review before but I just have to for Spitzer Ford Hartville!!! I AM BLOWN AWAY at their service!! I recently bought a used mazda from them. My salesperson Zack was absolutely wonderful!! Very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. I consider myself a pain in the butt when it comes to buying cars because I don’t want to rush into anything, I like to negotiate price and everything before I even come and look at a car. But they had no problem providing me all the service reports, price negotiations, etc. and didn’t rush me into a sale. I really felt like everyone at Spitzer had my best interest at heart in getting a great car for my money.
THEN to put the cherry on top, when I got home (2.5 hours away) I noticed a squeaking that wasn’t there in the test drive. Squealing metal on metal. I called Spitzer back and honestly was super nervous they would say tough luck, you bought the car already. But they said for my own safety, since they were the ones who replaced the brakes before sale, they would tow it all the way back to their dealership and fix it for free for me! Turns out, a damn rock got stuck in between the rotor on my drive home after buying ? nothing was wrong with it besides that! But they had no problem removing it and driving it all the way back to my house, no charge. They even left me a full tank of gas!!
They have really truly earned a lifetime customer I have never experience quality service and product delivery like I have from Spitzer Ford Hartville.”
