Jill in the office is the most unprofessional rude person I've ever had to speak to regarding medical. The fact that she is withholding my medical records and not forwarding them is unacceptable...when I asked to pick them up she said "don't you come here I won't have them ready" I'm incredibly happy that Dr Dickman is no longer with this office. Jill, you need a new career because you have zero empathy and you are a cruel woman. To work in medical then hold hostage our records is against the law. 5 days is more than enough time that my records should have already been sent when I originally requested. Thankfully my new office took care of this within minutes. Beware of this location.

Worst practice!! If you have a temperature this practice will not see you in person and will only want to perform a virtual visit. How can a doctor be trusted if they do not want to see you in person, listen to you, check you out. This practice only wants to see 100% healthy patients............ please avoid them at all costs. They should be ashamed to call themselves a medical practice!!!

I am very happy with my care from Sylvan Lakes Family Physicians! The staff are all very kind, calm and efficient, a rare combination. I have never had any trouble getting in for an appointment and wait times are short when I'm there.Dr. Dickman is the best primary care physician I have had in a long time! She listens to my concerns and asks questions. She answers questions when I have them and is willing to refer me to a specialist if needed. She always has a calm and patient presence and never seems rushed during appointments, which I greatly appreciate. I highly recommend her!

Very unprofessional! I was refused a rx refill because I hadn’t seen the dr in four months, but I was not asked at the previous appointment to make an appointment. I had to miss work twice because I was sick from not taking my meds. I made an appointment so I could get a prescription and when I went to my appointment they said I was no longer patient there and they had just sent a text reminder the day before. For the third time I was stuck without a refill. The medical assistant was so rude and immature. She was telling me things and making decisions without even talking to my doctor.

About 9 years ago, my beloved GP left the area. After seeing a few duds, I worried that I would never find another GP who I trusted and liked as well. Thankfully, I found Dr Mathur 7 or so years ago. He's great. He listens to me, spends time with me and is kind and compassionate. I always feel like I am heard and respected. The staff is always kind as well.

I have been attempting to get into office for 90 days for an allergy test to see what I am having reactions to… The staff at the office gives me appointments 3-6 weeks out in length & told me to go to urgent care or the hospital for routine medical care. Furthermore you can hear the office staff belittling patients on the phone in the background

Very first appointment with Dr Mautter was over an hour and a half wait. This appointment that I made FOUR months ago…I made sure to have first available appointment since I have a busy schedule as well and see patients of my own….I show up and I’ve been told my appointment was canceled back in October by sending a letter to my old address. You can’t call?? Unbelievable. That’s not how we treat our patients.

Dr. Dickman brings the whole practice to shame. She lacks compassion and thinks like a robot. I will do all I can to spread the word and try to save people from her lack of empathy. That kind of attitude is fine for a CEO, but not for a family doctor.

This office is the worst medical office I have ever encountered!!!! Dr. Dickman and her staff are extremely unprofessional and DO NOT care about their patience!! I have never seen such poor care! Will never go back!!!

I just want to begin by saying whoever voices the automated messages when calling sounds very annoyed and rude and to me that makes me feel like I shouldn't have bothered calling in the first place. Bugs me every time. Almost every time I visit, it looks like a majority of the people working there don't seem to be happy either. On the plus side, most of my wait times haven't been too long and Dr. Dickman is approachable and tries her best to help.
