Great little to take the kids to, playground, asphalt trails, and a swimming area with life guards, entry fee for non residents is five bucks, which isn't bad. Volleyball court, I advise you to wear shoes because of the sand burs.

Lived in Toledo all my life. Never knew what a gem this place was. Something for everyone. Kids through seniors. Clean, safe, well maintained, and affordable activities. Great place to hold a family reunion or child's birthday. Book in advance
Playground: Volleyball, swings, beach, etc.
Restrooms: Clean and safe
Dog-friendliness: Cleanup after your dog. Keep on a leash.
Picnic area: Several picnic areas complete with grills.

Attended event in shelter house recently. Very nice facility. Lots of space for what it was used for. Grounds were nice. Picnic tables and seating outside. Parking was good too.

Nice park for walking, biking, and small boats. No dogs, no pets allowed, but high illiteracy rate in US. Theoretically, no motorized boats except the one used by Park staff. Subject to illiteracy also.
Playground: Several playgrounds on-site
Restrooms: Restrooms at boathouse and boat ramp. Outhouse-style restroom at NW corner of lake.
Dog-friendliness: No pets allowed.
Picnic area: Couple group picnic shelters plus numerous individual picnic tables scattered around the lake.

Nice beach. The $8 entrance fee seemed to be a bit much. There weren't trash recepticals other than a few far away from the beach and tables. The covered picnic tables were awesome. The deep water floats were great too.

Very neat area. First time being there, and I liked it a lot. It was very clean and it seemed like there was a lot to do. Volleyball courts, swimming, boating, fishing. Wish I had known about this park when I lived in the north.

I think we need to bring back paying to get into the park again. People are taking this park for granted. And the park isnt maintaining the park at all. Trash bins are completely full and trash is everywhere

I'm currently doing a summer job for the first time here since earlier this month and how I liked about it is that I was able to walk around to those playgrounds they have. ?? Another thing that I'm doing is just picking up the trash to prevent litter and cutting down weeds in order for the place to look much better! ?

A beautiful park, nice for walking, great views. I can’t give it more stars because dogs are not allowed. Any time I think about taking a walk, my dogs would always be included. If they are leashed I don’t understand.
