Girlfriends diploma got delivered, says right on the package DO NOT FOLD. Folded and stuffed in the mailbox, then other packages were left in the rain. All her graduation stuff ruined.

I go to the post office today like every day to mail packages. I had 28 envelopes with labels already on them. It’s 4:06pm. 4 people in front of me and 3 behind me. Takes 15 minutes. I’m up next and Eric the “employee” tells me I have to go to the back of the line because “it’s Christmas” so everyone should go ahead of me. Of course I wasn’t happy, Eric starts getting loose lips immediately no stop! The so called boss comes and says he can do what he wants. That’s exactly what he said. Then Eric starts getting gt on me. Threatened me at least 7 times. We can handle it blah blah blah he says. From a previous conversation with him the other day he could care less about Christmas? I should have filmed it. He did it in front of other customers and after they came to the counter he was going on about it to them like they care. The supervisor or whoever came out and scanned my envelopes I guess so i wouldn’t have to go to the counter. Last thing. The person after me when Eric made me get out of line took longer than I did!!!!!!!!!! Meaning after Eric made me get out of the line and waited i a couple minutes, the supervisor came into the lobby and scanned my items. She “the person behind me when Eric made me get out of line was still at the counter picking up ONE package when I left! What a Joke!

Can’t stand how we keep getting someone else’s mail that isn’t ours. I live in a trailer park where the mail boxes are all mixed up yet there’s a specific note on the back of the box for the mail carrier to know whose is who. How the heck do they mix it up!? Not only that but I’ve been told multiple times that mail is slow, yet I have been receiving a lot of late mail lately and am not happy about this. This is not the first time it’s happened apparently either. I’m tempted to send everything back over to my parents cause at least they get their mail correctly.

For an essential business, this place is a joke. I've had so many missing pieces of mail including my registration & license plate sticker- I witnessed a carrier steal my package and had it on camera. She scanned it at the end of my driveway, put it back in the truck and left. I've had to retrieve my daughters birthday gift off the porch two doors down. But whenever I report instances like this, "she's one of our best carriers, she would never do that." I'm constantly asking businesses to send out an another package because I didn't receive it, but why should they have to keep replacing items they already sent because USPS can't get it together? And when I do get my mail, letters and packages are stuffed in my mailbox so haphazardly that envelopes are ripped or I have to use both hands to try to pry a box out that should have been left at my door instead. "DO NOT BEND" ??? That doesn't apply to Swanton carriers, apparently. Postal workers get paid exceptionally, they need to start doing the job they are paid for.

Needed Passports so we called the Swanton Post Office yesterday to be sure that did them. They said they did but their camera was broken and we could get our pictures at Rite-Aid in town and could download the forms online. The next day we completed the forms and got our pictures at Rite-Aid and the guy taking our pictures said “let me guess, the post office’s camera is still broken” , I said yes. Went to the Post Office and at 1:30pm and there were two employees standing there talking with no customers. I said we need to get passports and the said they couldn’t do them. I told them I called the previous day and they said they did them. They said I needed to schedule an appointment. I asked why didn’t they tell me that yesterday? Then I asked if we couldn’t just go on line and schedule it and take care of it. They laughed and said NO they didn’t have time. I said yes, I can see your really busy! As we walked out the lady scoffed at us. No wonder your reviews are only 1.9, customer service and attitude are terrible!

Our mail continues to be delivered to other neighbors house. Mail was delivered today by a unknown person we're assuming a neighbor we don't know. We have plenty of address placks. One at the corner, as well as on the home right at the mailbox.Another issue is the mail carrier will also walk in our flower beds in the summer trampling flowers and bring clumps of dirt on the porch.. we have even put up a sign on the mailbox to stay out of flowers.

I mailed a package to a customer in May and she just now messaged and said she hasn't gotten it. (In July) but she lives in Swanton. I tracked it and it said it was delivered to a postal locker. Idk what's going on but she needs her package!

I run a small online buisiness, so I have a lot of packages coming in and out. I can understand how that can be overwhelming for a small town, but the amount of packages that never get to the proper location is getting out of hand.I would give a 1 star, but I do get my mail daily at 10 AM, pretty consistently.
