Went to this store to have a ring resized. My diamond has a serial number on it. So I asked to see it before and after dropping it off and picking it up. As I do when I take it to be cleaned where I got the ring at McGivern Jewelers in Perrysburg. That’s what it is there for. Security. The woman went and told the man who got angry saying if I don’t trust them to go somewhere else. So the woman very rudely gave my ring back and said the same. I stayed very polite and calm and said it’s not that I do t trust them it’s that I don’t know them and that I do it even when having it cleaned where I got it. The older gentleman yelled “good, go there!”. So I calmly asked the woman, when you hire new employees do you do a background check. Which she yelled back at me, we are family owned we don’t have to. Then screamed, we have been in business 30 years. I said I don’t understand the hostility it’s only business nothing personal. And I left. These people in no way conduct their business in a professional manner. The only reason I didn’t go to McGivern is because their goldsmith just had surgery and is out for 3 weeks and I just got a new wedding band and I did not want to wait. I though I’d keep it local and support a local business. This business gives Swanton a bad name. Shame on you. I’ve done this many many times. It takes 5 minutes. If you have nothing to hide you’ve got nothing to fear.

I called to ask a question about a ring repair as it states that they repair jewelry & whoever answered the phone was not friendly or personable at all. Awful customer service ??

The place has a nice set up. But won't give you the time of day if you want to sell them Antique Jewelry. I came in Today with Antique Jewelry. I'm talking ones that have Gems, Pearls, possibly Real Gold, and possibly Real Silver. Some yes were plastic on part of them. They barely looked at it. Then gave it back. Didn't take any out of the bag to look at. Just told me no. Almost all are good quality. Some I tried to clean up myself.

My family has been going to Reicherts for over a decade. The guys and gals are always friendly and helpful. Whether it is for a jewelry repair, resizing, or purchase we have not been disappointed. They normally have some great old slot/game machines and also fossils/stones. Stop in and give them a try.

My Wife Introduced me to Reichert Jewlers many years ago from when she lived in Swanton and Bryan OH. She has had many pieces made by Bills father in the past and we still use Bills services today for not only repairs but new estate pieces . Bill and his son still offer small town service and what i would consider very reasonable prices. After all we live in Florida and still use Reichert Jewelers. Thanks again Bill for everything .

Worst place to go to sell jewelry I went in with a 300 dollar ring they offered 75 bucks I will never go back and never recommend them

They did an excellent job fixing my wedding ring. After 25 years of marriage my ring broke from everyday use. They were able to repair my engagement ring and fix it. I was able to get an upgrade for a better price than what I got an estimate for from another jewerly store. Thank you Reichart Jewelers!
