If I could rate this dealership with 10 stars, I would! Kelly and Melissa were SUPERB to work with. They made everything easy and went above and beyond when I bought my 2023 Camaro! They even called and sent pictures when my SWEET JAZZLYN was being delivered and driven off of the truck! Kelly and I live in the same town and she picked me up to give me a ride to the dealership to take possession of this car. They are absolutely AWESOME! If you are looking for a new/used car, this dealership is the BEST! They have a customer for life! They will treat you like family!

After decades of going to this dealership I have stopped. Why? One person - the Service Mgr. She has no customer service qualities what-so-ever. They kept increasing the bill to repair my 2010 A/C. It went from $1800 to $3800. Even after spending that much it failed a couple weeks later with a line leak. Yet I paid for a complete inspection and still under their 1 year service warranty. They wanted to charge me an additional $1700! All for a 13 year old vehicle. It took months for them to locate the part. Meanwhile I found that they could have just capped the line going to the rear of the car for $500 and I would have had a/c. I did just that from a local repair shop. a/c works great. $5,500 they want for an a/c repair on a 13 year old car. The Service Mgr was terrible and should be fired. I took my loss of $3,800 and decided to walk away from this dealership. Since changing hands it is not what it use to be. I will never buy another new car or have service done there ever again. They could care less about their long time customers.

We regularly use the service and parts department for repairs and maintenance so the great relationship was already there. The dealership and Jerry Salyers was really a no thought decision. We were greated right away by several staff members and got right to it. Jerry the salesman was honest and upfront about what we could expect. The vehicle arrived on the lot the day before we came in to discuss options and we were pleased that the there was even an option of color. Great service during and Jerry has been helpful even since. Great experience I would definitely recommend to others and we will be coming back in the future.

This was our second purchase from McNeill’s. Both purchases were through Jeremiah “Bullfrog” and couldn’t ask for a better experience. The process was very smooth both times. If you’re looking for an easy car buying experience head over to McNeill Chevrolet and ask for Bullfrog!

Went in to fix a vent cover and figure out why my AC takes 15 minutes to get cold. Was there an hour only to find out the tank they use to remove the bad contaminated freon out doesn't exist country wide and my vent that was "fixed" still feels like it'll fall out of you slightly tug on it not happy when you drop 40k on a car.Edit: once the issue is resolved with the AC I will update my rating. More irritated at the fact that there was a known issue on the AC refrigerant contamination before the car was sold to me and was never mentioned.

Team was patient. I called before opening yet salesman Jerry still took my call. After I told him I would be walking to dealership called me back and came and picked me up. No pressure sale. Everything went smooth and easy. 1st new car purchase and much easier then any used car experience......... after you buy they will not help. I've called several times and had come into dealership to show loan refinance and new bank. I've talked to take gap insurance and this dealership since I refinance in March. I was told by Jerry and jj that they would call me back. 5 times. They never did.. they also promised to get information for their undercoating and never did. . Aftert they've gotten your sale you are longer important. I will not use them again nor keep sending referrals

Sales side is great, service side not so much. Buy a car here and get it serviced elsewhere. There is no incentive to stick with them for maintenance and you’re probably better off for your vehicle’s sake.Update: foolishly had more maintenance here and it was even more of a headache. Got the vehicle back with deep scratches on it where they had to remove a panel. Ultimately they didn’t really do much to remedy the extreme dissatisfaction. Two free oil change coupons, as if I’d let them touch the car again.

Quoted on the phone it would take 15 mins. It took 30 mins for simple recall repair. At least they washed the car ... liked that. Emailed salesman that I would be there in service waiting area to discuss a possible new vehicle lease while I waited on repair, and he was a no show.

Honestly, I was rather disappointed. I asked if I could have my car vacuumed inside after my alignment and remote car starter install. I was told it would cost 140 dollars to have my car vacuumed because they do not provide that service. I didn't want it detailed. I just wanted a vacuum run over the floor mats and in back. I explained this to the service rep because I was taking it out of town. I just wanted it vacuumed. This would've taken 15 minutes tops and I think spending almost 500 dollars should be worth the extra 15 minutes to make a good impression on a new, and hopefully regular customer. I also received a coupon for an alignment in the mail. When I turned it in at the desk, the reception said she was not sure if it would be accepted, because some of the coupons in the mail are often not valid. Strike 2 in my book of good customer service. My sales associate happened to walk by as I was discussing the coupon and she couldn't understand why the coupon would not be honored either. She promptly checked on it, and found it was valid. The first time I brought my car in for an oil change, I was told that I could pay over the phone, but they would not leave my keys in the car, for me to get the car after 6 because the car was not safe on the lot. It was very inconvenient for me to rush there before 6 as I work until 6. This visit I was told they would leave my keys in the car and leave it unlocked because I would be there soon after 6 and the car would be fine. There is no continuity in customer service and none of the "We Care About You" attitude. I was so happy with Melissa and her excellent service all through out my purchase journey. I was counting on a long term relationship of excellent service for years. I am not too sure about that now. I definitely didn't feel like my patronage was important or appreciated.

Had been in talks with one of their sales managers for several days trying to arrange a test drive/purchase of a 2023 Bolt EV. Had scheduled to drive down from MI (about 1.5hrs away) yesterday 3/23 but got a call mid-day to be informed that they had made a mistake and confused 2 identical Bolts - one was already sold, and the other one we were supposed to go see was not ready (not charged and not inspected) so we rescheduled for today 3/24. Called mid-day to confirm and was assured everything is ready. Half hour into the trip we hit major traffic and out of courtesy I called to let them know my ETA only to be told that a customer "just walked in" and maybe buying the car. I was slightly irritated (understandable to most hopefully), the manager who shall remain unnamed then proceeded to scold me for not having taken the opportunity to put down the $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit on a car that I have never even seen in person and completely disregarding the fact that it was their screw-up and not having the car ready for me to test drive the day earlier when I had originally requested. When confronted that they probably weren't even going to inform me until I got there, the manager claimed "I was just about to call you." Yea...OK sure. The manager - who had been the sole person I've spoken with throughout the whole ordeal, then didn't even have the courtesy to call me back personally but instead had another salesperson to confirm that the other customer did indeed decide to purchase that vehicle.I understand that's how dealerships operate, first come first served, it's just money to them and really doesn't matter who the money is coming from. But at least have the common courtesy to inform a potential customer and not wait till they call, especially knowing that they are traveling a ways (and the manager knew that we were serious as I have asked her about titling/licensing for Michigan and that we were prepared to pay cash). And definitely not try to place blame on them for not wanting to commit to a non-refundable deposit. We know how it works, you don't need to lecture anyone, a simple apology that you made a mistaken (which they did) would've made this minor inconvenience much less of a problem.I would seriously reconsider doing business with them (I personally wouldn't), judging from some other reviews, selling a car out from underneath a potential customer is common practice. If you don't have such a basic business courtesy and decency pre-purchase, imagine what they could be after they have your money. Luckily the car wasn't my first choice in color, so it just wasn't meant to be.UPDATE 3/27: We were able to find one at another dealership locally in MI same Friday afternoon after we got home from this ordeal, called them and the salesman there scheduled us for the next morning to view/test drive and even volunteered to hold the keys in his office to ensure no one else would get there before us as we were traveling also 1.5hrs in the opposite direction. That's the professional courtesy that McNeil should teach their staff. We took it home the same morning and are super happy because it's actually in the color that I originally had wanted (white). Things happen for a reason. Thanks McNeil for the screw-up so I didn't have to settle for the red.
