They put me down as working as a lawyer working at “offices of lawyers”….im a cosmetologist they didn’t give me any of my deductions for my supplies or receipts they put me in the wrong school district in places I’ve never lived they completely screwed my refund and my taxes up please please save yourself and just go to an actual CPA

I normally don't write reviews when I receive bad service. However, the bad service from the Swanton H&R Block has costed my husband and I $3,000 because they did not file our taxes correctly. Sadly this is not the first time. This mistake was done after giving them a second chance. I am sick to my stomach to be told that we owe so much money that is now due on the 23rd (right before Christmas). Thank you H&R Block for ruining our Christmas and financially hurting us. Please do not go to ANY H & R Blocks. find a good reputable CPA like we are now doing. The company clearly does not train their employees to do taxes correctly and now my husband and I must pay for it.

Jennifer Bosh was the main reason I not only returned to H&R Block but traveled out of my way to her branch office. Her excellent and highly skilled prepation last year and this year will bring me back again next year as well.

The office in Swanton that we went to was obviously understaffed... Jennifer was the only one there, and despite being very busy, she managed to get us done in a timely manner, and was very personable, and professional.

Our experience went well and our preparer was very nice, but I was completely dumbfounded over the price. This was my first time having taxes done by someone else and I only had very simple tax prep in the scheme of things. The website says starting out at $80, and I fully expected to be paying more, but not $360. We had no other warning of what it could cost before hand. My dad told me the person that does his taxes at $255 is expensive, so I was not expecting it to be more than that. Needless to say, we will be looking elsewhere next year.

It was a quick drop off with questions answered after taxes were concluded. The staff was wonderful, professional and personable.
